Lock markers
I'm a Locksmith and use these while rekeying buildings. One color for key identification. Usually in a Master system you have multiple keys and the colors are associated with key direction. I used to use colored dots in the frame but this helps you know if you've visited that lock or not. Be careful pulling them out of the keyway because they are plastic and do break somewhat easily.
