These little things actually work! The choice of "invisible" as a color is questionable, but they REALLY reduced my snoring.
These crazy little things actually work! I ordered about 4 different types of nasal opening anti-snoring dealies and these by far work the best. Let me tell you a few pros and cons but first the cons... Cons: -- They take some getting used to. They don't hurt at all but you can definitely feel them in your nose. I had trouble falling asleep with these in for several days. I would wake up and they would be out and on the nightstand (I must have taken them out without realizing). Just power through and try to keep them in. It is more of a tinglie feeling, definitely not painful. -- They are super easy to lose. the selection of "invisible" as a color choice makes them very difficult to find when you fling them across the room. -- They don't last forever. You will probably lose them (I am not sure how a few have NEVER turned up) before they wear out but they do lose their shape after a month or so (which is longer than they say they will last) Pros: -- They VERY SIGNIFICANTLY reduced my snoring. My partner is ecstatic and I wake up feeling more rested. I am just not going to get one of those CPAP things. My partner says that I still snore sometimes when on my back but it is barely noticible. When I forget to put them in or take them out because it is almost time to wake up anyway, I snore and get beaten in the side (not "i love you baby but you are snoring" beaten, like really mean scary beaten!). I have read a little about snoring online and apparently one of several causes can be that the side of your nose sorta collapses when you are asleep so your nasal passages are not open wide enough and you snore! This holds the nose open more widely and reduces that. As you fall asleep you may actually hear yourself snore one time when you have these in. I have no idea what causes that but it happens to me a lot. ONE snore and then I am fine. --I need a second pro or I shouldn't have made bullets. I think the price is pretty good and the simplicity is fantastic. This really is an item that can make a significant change in your life. I don't claim that it treats sleep apnea or anything else, but it has made me snore probably 80% less and that is worth it to me!

21st Century Nighttime Nasal-breathing Aid Miracle!
I'm sooo happy I decided to try these little butterfy nasal expanders!. The last couple of months I've been miserably plugging along with the solid silicone cone-type nasal expanders, and, even though they "seemed" to allow for better nasal breathing at first, they caused another problem! For some reason, while sleeping, they caused my sinuses to constantly drain down my nose, thereby forcing me to wake several (make that many) times during the night to remove the cones so I could blow my nose! Or ... from the sinus drainage, the cones would slip out completely, and I would find myself with a wet, yet plugged up, nose and breathing through my mouth which also causes me to wake! :( Enter the SleepRight Breathe Aid ... my first night using this strange little butterfly-looking apparatus was the most pleasant and restful night's sleep I've had in a long, long time. Even though the clip part seemed a bit snug and I felt a little pinch when inserting, I experienced no nasal pain during the night and, when I awoke the next morning, my sinuses weren't draining or clogged at all ... a miracle! :) Between these little gems, my sleep mask, and ear plugs, I'm finally getting the deeper sleep we all need! I feel like a new person!!!!

Great as long as you're not congested
When I was in high school I had surgery on my nose, in which my septum (the cartilage in the center of the nose) was removed. This resulted in my nose collapsing slightly, causing the right nostril to be smaller than normal and my left nostril to be almost completely obstructed. When I'm laying down, my nose collapses even further and it's almost impossible to breathe through my nose. I've been using Breathe Right Nasal Strips, Large, Tan, 30-Count Box every night for ~20 years, and they've greatly improved my sleep. But they're ~$0.40 per night every single night for the last 20 years, and I'll need them or something like them for the rest of my life. So every few years I go searching for some alternative that doesn't cost quite as much and that doesn't generate as much waste. This is the best alternative I've found. Initially I found these quite uncomfortable. I started out wearing them upside down relative to what the instructions recommended. The instructions said to hold it so it looked like a W when inserting it. But that puts the center of the wings (the bottom of the W) right in the airflow, which seemed weird to me. So I held it so it looked like an M, which puts the center of the wings (the top of the M) up in the bulb of the nose, well away from the airflow. They held my nostrils way open, making it much easier to breathe. But the pressure on the center of my nose was too great, and after a couple of nights they were just too painful to wear. It's possible that I experienced greater pain than others would, since I have scar tissue from the surgery that makes the center of my nose thicker than normal. Regardless, they hurt a lot, so I stopped using them and went back to the BreathRight strips for a while. Eventually I decided to try again, this time inserting them like a W as the instructions recommended. They don't hold my nose open quite as far as the other way, but they hold it open far enough. And the wings don't seem to obstruct the airflow even though they're right in the path. And they're WAY more comfortable that way. They still took some getting used to, but now they're my go to solution almost every night. I kinda love them now. EXCEPT: You can't really use these, or any of the "device in your nose" options, when you have nasal congestion and need to blow your nose during the night. You can't blow your nose with these things in there. So if you're having trouble breathing due to nasal congestion you're almost certainly going to want to go with the strips that stick to the outside of your nose. Otherwise every time you have to blow your nose you'd have to take this out, blow your nose, then re-insert the device. And having something inside your nose adds to the feeling of being congested, which makes you want to blow more often. Stick with strips if you're congested. For the record, I also tried Snoring & Breathing Aid - INVISIBLE NASAL STRIPS from WoodyKnows® - Advanced Nasal Dilators / Snore Stoppers / Nose Vents - Effective, Comfortable, and Durable Anti Snore Solution - Breathe and Sleep Right 3-Count (S+M+L) . Those are more expensive, harder to fit (you have to choose a size), and offer no advantage over these. This is by far the better choice.

Fabulous! Fabulous! Fabulous! My husband and I both sleep soundly now!
These things are amazing. I need a lifetime supply! You can definitely tell when it's time to change one out, as your spouse will let you know that "you snored last night". I have a small nose, so they do irritate sometimes, especially when my cat decides to wake me up by rubbing said nose with his very hard head. When it does get irritated, I use a little vaseline on the wings, and it's fine. Doesn't cause any bleeding or anything, so it isn't that irritating. The benefit I get from these far outweighs any negative I can think of. My husband was actually considering sleeping in one of the spare bedrooms on the opposite side of the house because if he doesn't fall asleep before me without these things, he doesn't sleep that night. I tried the breathe right strips for awhile before I found these at Walgreen's, and they work too, they just leave hickies on my nose in the exact shape of the breath right strip so they are a no for me. Unfortunately, I can not find these on store shelves any longer. That always makes me nervous because I start getting worried that the product isn't popular enough and they will stop making it. Walgreen's has their own version, and they are awful. They are cones that go up into your nose. The problem is that they fall out. I think you have to have nostrils shaped and sized exactly like the cones to keep them in. I do not have allergies or chronic sinusitis or anything, just snoring for unknown reasons, so I have no idea how these would work for those conditions; however, I think they are worth a try. If you feel like you could be sleeping better, you probably could be - and if this might be a solution for you - what do you have lose?

Great product!
I like this product very much. I have used this breathe aid every night since October 2013. Before that I wore nasal strips for about 10 years. I didn't like the strips anymore because the glue just wouldn't come off my nose without using rubbing alcohol every morning. The bridge of my nose was red for a few hours after and the skin was peeling. I searched for alternatives and found this product. Here are some notes about this product: 1. I do have to be patient during the first couple of days of starting use of a new device. It can sort of pinch my nose the first few nights, which I don't notice except while inserting and removing it. 2. The instructions say to replace it about every 15 days. I am able to use one for about 4 weeks. I wash it with soap and water when I remove it and let it air dry. 3. It takes some fiddling with it to find the most comfortable fit for your nose. Sometimes, just adjusting the angle or how far in it goes, or adjusting the curved parts makes it more comfortable. Once you wear it a couple of nights, you'll have a good idea of what works for you. 4. This device works just as well or better than the nose strips did for me. I have a deviated septum and allergies so I need something to help breathe at night. Before they sold nose strips, I would take a decongestant every night. Overall I'm very happy with this product and hope they continue to sell it for a very long time. I really don't want to go back to nose strips. It's so nice to wake up, remove the device and that's it. No pulling off the skin on your nose and cleaning the glue off.

Good product, but sometimes painful
This insert really works, it improves breathing and can be used both for sleeping and for working out. This is much better than the "nasal strips" that adhere to the outside, I really feel like this opens up the nasal passageways. I have slept much better when using it. Despite the benefits, there are a few drawbacks: 1. Not very comfortable and can cause irritation-- the insert has been painful at times to remove after sleeping. It really hurts the bottom of my nose, where the insert "hangs" 2. Falls out- occasionally it will fall out in middle of night, and I will end up finding it on the floor 3. Material is not soft-- as mentioned in point 1, the material here is very rigid and not soft, wish it was a bit more soft Overall-- would still recommend as it really improves sleep despite the irritation

Works, But....
This product worked for me, but there's a huge problem with it. For reasons that are obscure to me the manufacturer thinks that having the strip that connects the two sides pinch the fire out of you improves the product. It does not. It's not like the device can fall out. I tried really hard to get used to this product, because the concept is good. But pinching the part of my nose between the two nares was just so painful that I had to abandon it. I tried for several nights; I tried skipping a night or two; I tried letting a callus develop. Nothing worked. In the end, the skin just inside my nose started bleeding regularly because the thing just pinches so hard. I have a small nose, so I don't expect anyone will not be pinched by it. However, some people may not be as tender there as I am. I'm giving it 2 stars only because it does a very nice job of opening up my nose so I can get more air, and there is minimal discomfort inside. Otherwise, it would only get 1 star.

Work well to spread walls of nasal passages for air flow!
These work. They work better than the strips which go on the outside. They are reasonably comfortable. You get 3 in a package and are supposed to use each one for about 2 weeks. I think it is because the tensile strength will lessen as you use it, but I don't really know. I keep using one until I notice it not working well. After use, I put it in isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) for a bit, then take it out and let it dry -- otherwise the alcohol won't kill the germs (just like hand sanitizer needs to dry to be effective) -- then I just drop it in soapy water -- later I rinse well and drop it into clean water until I ready to use it again. I haven't had any problems with bad smell or any germs or viruses so far. I usually only use it at night, but on occasion I have used one during waking hours and I will forget the device is there. It doesn't really "show" on the outside except where the two sides come together and wrap into the nasal passages. Hey, I'm 5' 2" so most people can't see it. Finally, a benefit of being short! The device physically spreads the outside walls of the nasal passages apart, which allows for more air flow. They are flexible but sturdy plastic, so they are strong enough to spread the nasal openings apart but still flexible enough to get in and out. You put the device just inside the "cuff" of the nose -- just past where the "outside" layer of skin wraps into the opening. You will see a physical difference in the width of your nose, plus you can feel the device by touching the sides of your nose. Weird but not painful at all. On an even more personal note, I barely get air through my nose. One side is practically closed up due to a deviated septum. I use two different prescription nasal sprays to reduce inflammation, regularly irrigate with a neti pot and squirt buffered distilled water a lot -- both the squeeze bottle kind and the aerosol. And I take antihistamines -- and sometimes decongestants -- but of course, decongestants can have a "bounce back" effect after they wear out, so I try to limit them. I wake up with chapped lips every morning, and I know I snore. I had an exam where they shove the camera in there and I wore glasses so I could watch. Very cool. Sort of like the old movie "Innerspace." I was told that the deviated septum was up too high for surgical repair. I told the yoga instructor if she tells me to breathe in through my nose and out through my mouth ONE MORE TIME I am going to punch her in HER nose. I'm not going to do that, or course, but I keep my blood pressure down by thinking about doing it.
