A great replacement
A great fit for my Fagor pressure cooker. I no longer have steam escaping from the lid, and the food cooks well. I believe the gasket is made of silicone rather than rubber and is thicker than my old one. That's probably why this new one provides a better seal. I highly recommend this product.

Fits 8qrt 9 inch rimmed Fagor
Fits my 8 qrt, 9 inch rimmed Fagor pressure cooker perfectly. Wish they could do one at 60% the price because the last one lasted over 10 years and I'll probably lose the second one before I'm ready to replace it again.

Rubber gasket better than silicone.
After many returns I will never buy silicone gaskets. I will stay with the rubber style.

Nice construction. Price seemed reasonable. Make sure you pick the right size. There's no standard (apparently) on how to measure the gasket, versus the pot's openings. Vendor helped us pick the correct size.

Fits Rapida 6L (snugly!)
My great TFal pressure cooker was still perfect after 30 years, but refused to work with the new induction stove! I gave it away <sob!>, and got an InstantPot, which I disliked. Bought a new TFal stovetop pressure cooker, and it was jangly and rattley, and very hard to get to seal properly, so I was hating it, too. Then one day I saw a beautiful shiny 6L Spanish RAPIDA at the thrift store and snapped it up for $9! Clearly hardly used… but the gasket was kind of hard, and it also had issues sealing, so I started a search for another one. Not easy…and I think different brands use slightly different thicknesses, so that was an unknown. Finally got this, and it fits fine in the lid, but it’s VERY hard to get the lid to close! Once I do, it’s a perfect seal.

Great replacement for old Fagor pressure cooker
Tight fit on old pressure cooker. Best to lubricate with vegetable oil before putting lid on. Works great!
