Very strong and reliable

This retractable keychain is exactly what I needed for work. I get in and out of my van many times throughout the day, so keeping my keys easy to reach is important. Before using this, I was constantly putting keys in a pocket, taking them out again and worrying about where I had put them. The retractable cord makes a real difference. I can keep the keychain securely attached and still reach the key when I need it, without having to unclip or remove it each time. Nice long length to the cord so you can pull keys a nice distance from you. I've even used my keys without detaching the keyring from my belt hoop, but can be fiddly doing that. Just note that regular use causes the cord to become worn, so you may find it suddenly snapping. That's what happens to me, anway. Other than that, great little item. I love the lanyard holder as I use this to hold my work keys so I can easily see them and detach when I need to use them.

Mechanism on cable retractor feels well made and the length of the cable is more than ample length to have on waistband and reach up to card scanner at chest level. The plastic connecting the card holder the cable did break after approximately 2.5 years of daily use, however I think this is a reasonable lifespan for the price

Work really well. The clip attatches to my belt look securely and fits well. It is really easy to use and does not require some big tug or anything. The materials feel really solid and not flimsy.

Exactly what I needed

You know that feeling when the cord your work pass is on breaks? Not any more! These are super sturdy and robust. What surprised me most is that the heavy duty wire that retracts into the holder is OK to take through airport security (first time was an accident, now I just leave my pass on its chain). It's super useful and I would hate to be without my strong, sturdy, heavy duty holder.

Barely used/extremely light use, and now it’s broken and won’t retract, not what you expect for a product claiming to be heavy duty and with such a high price tag, shame because it feels good and robust and worked great

You won't regret buying this. Bought 2 and it looks durable. Cable is made of solid wire that will surely last
