One of the girls I work with had used this color of chrome powder. She was sitting across from me in a meeting and I couldn't take my eyes off of her nails! I complimented her on her nail polish and that's when she told me that it was a chrome powder on top of black gel nail polish! After she explained the process of how she did her nails to me, I went home and purchased everything I needed to do mine just like hers! I could not get over how easy it was to turn my unpainted blah nails into something magical! So many ladies complimented me on my nails and asked where I had them done. When I told them I did it my self and it was super easy, they were so surprised! I was very happy with the staying power. I could've probably gotten about 3 weeks out of them before they needed to be re-done. I hand wash my dishes, so I only got about 2 weeks. I think I may need to invest in rubber gloves to help protect my nails. We are going on a cruise in a few weeks and I'm definitely going to do my nails using this powder! My friend from work did tell me that chlorine from swimming pools does remove the gel polish very easily so I'll have to be careful if I get in the pool on the ship. I'd love to try other colors but this one, it just really caught my eye and I love it! If you're thinking about buying this chrome powder, do it, you won't regret it. I promise! Update: still loving this powder! I forgot to say that before applying to each nail, wipe with alcohol first. The powder sticks better. When done, apply a top coat and cure.

I bought two PrettyDiva nail powders. A purple-green chameleon one and this chrome one. This purple-green one works exactly as expected. The prefer is super fine and you'll get a beautiful smooth metallic look. 5 Stars!!! Lastly, I think this is just mica powder. You can buy mica for resin casting or soap making. You would get more powder for cheaper that way. Look for chameleon color-changing, calographic, and iridescent mica for different effects. But this is nice because the mica comes in a little plastic container with clear top so I can see what's inside. And the powder comes with several dual-tipped sponge applicators. See picture. I used with Gelish polish and top coat. Love how it comes out!!!

This was my first time going my own gel manicure and my first time doing chrome. This was after 3 coats of the chrome and top coat but not because of the product, it was user error and inexperience. Also this video is after 2.5 weeks of this manicure. There’s only one little area on my thumb that peeled off. The chrome is beautiful and covered the black nail polish under. It looks different depending on the light. This video is it in natural sunlight. Some light it looks more teal, others more purple. The applicators it comes with aren’t great, they break apart but otherwise, great product. I went back and bought another color too.

I bought this nail powder in hope to make a metallic color changing slime. The package arrived late, but that was just the deliverer's error. The powder came in a very small container, and was only filled up halfway. I put the powder in some clear slime, and because of the small amount of it, the slime was not very vibrant and did not show too much color. The slime ended up with a more grayish color with only a hint of purple and cyan. But aside that, it was a great nail powder, and had a beautiful color shift (I'm sure the slime would of turned out better if there was more powder). I will post a picture of the slime (It looks better in natural light. Btw I got the Fairy color) Awesome powder, I just wish there was more, for that price. I highly recommend!!

I love this stuff! I thought it would be less dynamic than like a silver chrome. But on a whim I put this over hot pink nails instead of black, I got a much lighter and brighter oil slick look than before. Perfect for the first day of fall. Mixes fall and summer colors beautifully. Also looks great over black, just a darker look. I’ve been happy with every pretty diva chrome I’ve purchased. I normally buy revel dip and I still swear by them for their sold colors ( the pink is revel) but their “mirror chrome” always comes out sparkly. Never have that issue with diva stuff. Make sure to use a thin layer of tack free gel and the LITTLEST amount of chrome powder (way less than you think you need) buff in well and you’ll have a perfect mirror finish 💜

Anyone saying this doesn’t work is either using the wrong products or not applying it correctly. It’s phenomenal!! Pics shown are done using just a sticky base coat. I used the Beetles foundation that came with my kit here on Amazon. Apply and cure for 60 seconds under an led light. DO NOT WIPE the tacky layer. Dip the tiniest corner of the eyeshadow applicator in the powder and gently buff it over the entire nails. Apply gel top coat and cure another 60 seconds. Then you can wipe the top coat with some isopropyl alcohol. That’s it. Pics are one coat of each and wearing beautifully. Even used it in spots on other nails and it worked great. This jar will last for over 1000 full nails easily assuming my dumb butt doesn’t spill it. Great product. Applies smoothly. Definitely more metallic than chrome but that’s what l love about it. Softer finish. The color shift is stunning and easily seen. 10/10 would recommend and buy again. I’m a COVID induced home nail tech. This is my fifth set of nails.

So freaking awesome! I had to practice with it. I started with the born pretty unicorn first then got this one and it works a lot better. It is darker than I was hoping for and I am going to see if they have a similar one that is light. I used a clear base coat from Walmart then used pretty diva uv Gel no wipe top coat. I tried all different colors including black and it didn't really have an effect on it when buffed to a shine. I use an eyeshadow brush and it turns out you can just wipe in any direction it doesn't have to be in a circle. And if you do it fast it does get more shiny. I pressed it along the edge of the nail which makes a mess on the finger which can be gently washed off with soap and water before using the clear top coat but be gentle with the nail. It actually doesn't wipe off! This helps get rid of any little sparkles that are floating on top. Then gently air dry before doing top coat and curing again. I used the led uv lamp from Walmart. With the born pretty it didn't work as well and I ended up with random glitter in my clear polish ugh. Oh I ended up liking clear rather than color under the glitter but I felt like I needed 2 coats of the powder. In the pictures my toes we're only 1 coat of powder. One last note the green is the dominant color and purple shows up mustly if I point my fingers downward.

I use this product for art purposes. It’s very concentrated and works well and beautiful.

Love it! Follow the instructions carefully but also consider the curing time for your topcoat. It works best when the top coat is on the verge of fully curing for best chrome effect.
