Excellent bit of kit (so hubby says!) Very reasonably priced. We have used to locate damp patches in both caravans and a camper. Seems to be accurate and has pinpointed those areas which need further investigation. Very easy to use, with clear and bright readings. Responds quickly when placed on testing area. Neat and tidy carry case. Definitely a value for money purchase, especially if you're testing before a big outlay purchase.

So easy to use. Just attach battery. Monitoring daily, an old water leak, that has now been fixed, using a dehumidifier also. % of water in wall gradually going down. It will allow me to know when safe to get my wall redecorated. Very impressed!

Easy to use . Bought to check damp levels in a Motorhome.

Very handy and feels good to hold - not cheap and nasty ! Cheap prog moisture meters only measure moisture on the surface or where the prongs penetrate - but this meter ignores surface water and beams into the wall to get the reading. Seems quite sensitive - not sure of the absolute accuracy of the readings but you get a very good idea from taking a reading on a wall which is not damp and then comparing tht with your damp areas. All traditional walls contain some moisture - so any reading below about 20 is not 'damp' in building terms. Set it to the type of wall you are measuring.

Very good piece of kit - I checked against a “proper” 1 & it was 1 unit out (this measured 8 - the damp report said 9) - I would say for the money an excellent buy

I bought this to check for damp in my caravan. It's easy to use and works well.

I got this meter to test for damp in my motorhome and and very pleased with it. It is very accurate and responsive and instantly shows any damp areas to pin point accuracy. Would definitely recommend.

Gerät macht einen guten Eindruck und wird mit einer Tasche geliefert. Anzeige ist gut abzulesen und es ist eine kleine LED auf der Rückseite verbaut um auch dunkle Stellen gut Messen zu können. Die mitgelieferte 9V Batterie hat bei mir nicht recht lange gehalten, wurde aber durch eine neue 9V Batterie ersetzt, was Rückseitig durch einen Batteriefachdeckel recht einfach möglich ist. Ausschlaggebend für den Kauf war eine Messung ohne "Einstich" vornehmen zu können. Zur Messgenauigkeit kann ich nichts sagen, da ich keinen Vergleich habe. Für mich ist das Produkt aber OK

Il détecte l'humidité dans la profondeur des matériaux jusqu'à 2cm par un système capacitif : Un capteur plat derrière l'appareil est placé sur l'objet à mesurer. On utilise cette technologie dans l'industrie et elle fonctionne bien et elle est précise. Voii des "+, =, -" : + Il fonctionne sans faire de trou sur les surfaces ! C'est très bien pour des murs + J'aime la mesure en profondeur, ce n'est pas juste la surface + L'affichage est grand et clair, la mesure est immédiate, c'est impeccable. Et c'est ça qu'on lui demande. + Le bouton Hold permet de geler la mesure pour la montrer ou la noter + Il est calibré avant d'arriver, mais si à un moment on a un doute sur les mesures on peut refaire une calibration = On doit indiquer quel type de matériau on mesure (mur béton, mur brique, bois dense, bois léger) avec le bouton Mode pour avoir la bonne mesure = Il ne fonctionne pas sur des surfaces qui conduisent l'électricité comme du métal ou des films conducteurs, ni sur un liquide (mais ce ne sont pas des endroits où on irait mesurer de l'humidité). = Il utilise une pile 9V, fournie, il a un indicateur de charge restante. = Il est livré avec un étui de protection qui n'est pas terrible, il est doublé mais je le trouve un peu fin et un peu petit, ça ne rentre pas tout seul, et il ne protège pas de l'écrasement. Mais on peut garder la boîte en carton dans laquelle il est livré, elle est solide et elle sera ok pour le rangement, avec le petit mode d'emploi dedans. - Attention, si l'objet à mesurer fait moins de 2cm d'épaisseur la mesures sera fausse, il faut mettre deux épaisseurs dans ce cas. - Le capteur est plat et fait 4cmx4cm, on ne peut pas faire de mesure sur plus petit que 5cmx5cm, et l'objet doit avoir une surface plane pour y poser l'instrument. Ce n'est donc pas bon pour une branche d'arbre, mais ok pour un mur. Mon utilisation est pour mesurer l'humidité des murs et ça correspond bien. Certains ont besoin de mesurer l'humidité du bois et là ça peut être limite, pour des branches ou des planches qui font moins de 2cm d'épaisseur, ou des murs abîmés qui ne sont pas plans.
