Update. This case is as good as ever. If you are familiar with the waffle cone Speck cases of old, this replicates that design, only for an iPad Mini.Finally. A perfect, "snug" and protective rubberized fit. I use this product in combination with the: V7 Ultra Protective Sleeve for iPad mini and 8-Inch Tablets (TDM23BLK-GY-2N) This set up is highly affordable, but most importantly it allows me to protect my iPad mini 2, at home and on the go, WITHOUT a traditional iPad front cover.Front covers on iPad cases are designed, almost invariably, in a way that inhibits/obscures the use of the main camera. What? This happens whenever iPad covers are wrapped around the back (like every time you are using an iPad with a cover). You have to, essentially, awkwardly, hold the front cover out of the way while composing images. It creates a potential iPad "drop" situation whenever attempting to take a photo. Not good.A downside: There is no magnetic auto shut off functionality without a magnetized front cover, which frankly hasn't ever been an issue for me.

The case looks amazing on the iPad mini I put it on. The rubber of the case is not stiff and makes it easy to insert your tablet. The quality is above average especially for the price point. The rubber case has squares through out the entire case that are Aesthetically pleasing to the eye and also aid in hand grip. The product name/logo is built on to the case in bright red lettering witch catches one's attention and adds to the great look of the case. All the holes for speakers, charging port, headphone jack, camera, and lock switch are in the proper location and not obstructing access, camera view or sound. The front of the case hugs around the edge of the tablets screen for damage protection and is raised a few millimeters past the screen to protect the screen In the event that you have the tablet placed on a surface face down.

i bought this because the description says its rubber and the grip is good. it kept slipping out of my hand, so it is not great. i sent it back and am using my original leather case. ***** update as of 28 JulI received another snugg case. When you first put the case on, it fits snugly but it has is a oily feeling. However, after working with the case I feel just fine using it It's very lightweight in my hand and I can turn my iPad very easily; but most of all. The rubberized grip keeps it in my hand and I don't worry about dropping it. I believe the manufacturer made this to fit snugly around the iPad mini. The case does just that

The case itself is very nice. I am able to put it on and take it off easily. It has a very nice grip and is light weight. It does not inhibit sound in anyway and my lightning cable connects perfectly. The headphone jack is accessible, but will only accommodate the smaller sized connectors. My only issue is the sleep/wake button. You need to be able to press it at the same time as the home button to do a screen capture. When I press the button with the case on, either nothing happens or it goes straight to turn off. I have always used that button to turn off the screen when I'm done. I've had to set up a 2 minute screen shut off. The only way I can use the sleep/wake button is to take the case off of that corner to manually push the button.

I love the IDEA of this case but once I get it home and try it out I really don't like it all. I'm giving it 3 stars because I do like it's texture and the look of it. However, it has a tendency to pull off your iPad when holding the edge. You cannot trust it when you are holding with one hand. It stretches on and off very easily. I does feel nice on the hands, it's smooth but yet bumpy, however, regardless of it's looks it is slick. Again don't trust it with one hand. Now if all you do with your iPad is put it in a stand on the table and lay it on the table and that's the only place your tablet goes, this is perfect.

Absolutely love everything about this case with one exception. The feel is GREAT! The only issue for me is the power button is pretty much impossible to use which is only a big deal because I do a lot of screen shots. If it wasn't for that it would be an easy 5 stars.

No more slipping and sliding through my sweaty mits, or skidding off my suede couch every time i plop down on it. Also, it makes it alot easier to prop my ipad up on my belly without having to worry about it slipping off while lying down. The grooves in the silicone are about the depth of a penny. The price makes this the best accessory buy ever. I haven't dropped it yet, but my ipad mini is certainly more protected now that it ever was without it.

When I purchased this I wanted something that allowed me to grip my iPad Mini better. This is more substantial than previous cases I've seen, and the pattern provides plenty of "grip." It fit the Mini perfectly, and I was surprised that the buttons were still very easy to depress with the case in place. There was just one problem with this item; my husband saw it. He loves it. I will be placing another order soon.

This ipad mini case is built of a high quality material that feels like rubber or silicon. The textured surface makes it easy to grip and the material is sufficiently thick enough that it should protect your ipad from drops (it saved ours on a couple of times). The fit is snug, it doesn't interfere with any of the buttons or access ports and after using it for a year it hasn't stretched or gone out of shape.The only issue is that it had a slight slippery feel when we first bought the case - this was easily fixed by washing the case before we installed it.I would purchase this product again or recommend it to a friend. We also purchased the GreatShield VIES sleeve for our IPAD and found that we did not have to take of the silicon case off of our IPAD to insert it into the sleeve.

The case arrived promptly and as advertised. I is a little more "substantial" than I had expected but it is working fine

Solid, rugged, and fits perfectly. It’s got excellent grip, and does not add too much weight. I’m really pleased with this case!
