Is this Ceylon or Cassia cinnamon?

Seems like it's Cassia. Which means it's marked up about 400% and can be dangerous in quantities over 1 tsp. As to the person who thinks the difference is geographic please dont put ignorant answers on line. Cassia comes mostly from China and has a high level of a toxin that can cause liver damage over time. Ceylon comes from Sri Lanka and is safe to eat in larger quantities, but it does cost more...basically the price this product is posing as. I notice they say to use 1/4 teaspoon, probably in the event someone gets sick from their product, but it's ridiculous these companies get away without saying what time of cinnamon they are peddling when there are well documented health risks to Cassia..

Is this product made in China?

I don’t know. China is not particularly know as a source for spices. Why don’t you contact Morton & Bassett?

I purchased this cinnamon per the "taste testers" of Americas Test Kitchen; and according to a recent article, this cinnamon from Indonesia and made up of the following: "STYLE is Mild and sweet, [its] ORIGIN Indonesia, ADDITIVES None, [and] VOLATILE OILS 1.9%" and another direct quote from ATK is: "Most of the cinnamon sold in supermarkets is harvested from the bark of trees grown in Indonesia and Vietnam. But in many parts of the world, Ceylon cinnamon, or “true” cinnamon, which is grown primarily in Sri Lanka, is more common." (Americas Test Kitchen 2021)
