Very good shorts for the price. Will buy them again.
Bought these shorts for $38 and am very happy with them. Very good quality materials and construction. But the fit and ride experience is what I am most happy about. I am male, 6 foot and weigh 168 pounds with a 35" waist. I ride a road bike. I bought a large on the recommendation of several reviewers who said that they are sized a bit small and they fit perfectly. Even a good fit on my thin thighs. I was a bit skeptical of the individually formed pads but was delighted at the comfort they provided. My first few rides of the season usually involve some soreness, but I experienced none with these shorts. I can no longer bike all day or do centuries, but on the few one-hour rides that I have done so far, they are quite comfortable. Will definitely buy them again.

Great!
These men’s bike shorts are a fantastic combination of comfort, performance, and quality. The material is lightweight, breathable, and does an excellent job of wicking away moisture during long rides. The padding provides great support without feeling bulky, making even extended time in the saddle much more comfortable. The fit is true to size with just the right amount of compression to stay in place without restricting movement. The stitching is durable, the waistband is comfortable, and the fabric feels premium and built to last. I also appreciate that they don’t ride up while cycling. Whether you’re a casual rider or spend serious time on the bike, these shorts offer excellent value for the money. Comfortable, well-made, and designed for performance, they exceeded my expectations and have quickly become my go-to pair for every ride.

Reasonable quality for price
Padding is good and stays in place. Waist band is reasonably comfortable, does not roll. Compression is not as "firm" as I prefer. Good for short-medium rides, probably not effective for longervrides. I bought two pair, and I opted to keep them. Decent shorts for the price, but next time I will pay the extra for 8 panel shorts with more compression.

Great value, quality, and comfort for the money.
Very pleased and a bit surprised at the quality of these bike shorts. I've ridden road and mountain bikes for my entire life (I'm 66 years old, have done triathlons and bike races) including several 100+ mile days, and understand the importance and feel of quality bike shorts. Compared to the ridiculous cost of name-brand pro bike shorts nowadays, these shorts appears just as well-made as the high-end versions, and include the pockets in key areas that high end shorts often lack. Most of all, the gel chamois pad seems excellent. I was first skeptical it was actually gel, as opposed to dense foam (it doesn't feel "gel-ly") but looking more into the mfg. website and specs and illustrations, the shorts indeed have a thinnish gel LAYER sandwiched between the dense foam layers. The pad is very thick, actually, and I worried a bit too thick and bulky, as any experienced cyclist knows you don't want a cushy seat for long rides, you want low friction. And at first try-on the shorts (i.e. the chamois pad) felt quite boxy and stiff. But a first ride of 40 miles went fine, and a longer 85-mile ride in 95 F heat and hills all day this week was even better as the pad became more worn-in and the new-fabric stiffness of the pad softened up. I used the usual butt-cream skin/chamoix protectant liberally and no undershorts, as is the correct way to use these. You still have to be in good shape, of course, and fancy gel padding will not prevent a sore butt if you are out of conditioning and your butt is not used to the miles. But as I come back into conditioning myself this pair of shorts seems to be a very good value for the cost and quality. I'd buy another pair for sure. Long-term wear and durability undetermined.

Amazing deal on cycling shorts. Excellent quality and amazing pricing!
I am thrilled with the quality and pricing of these bike shorts. I bought 2 different pairs, these cost about $36. I was looking online for bike shorts and found the higher priced brands start at $65 for their basic budget shorts. These are of excellent quality, the fit is perfect for me, I got a Medium size, weigh about 133 lbs, waist is 32 in , hips 35 inch and they fit perfect, look and feel good. Nice colors, durable material, the padding is very nice cushy and feels good on my road bike. the padding is not excessive and it feels just right. the comfort is much better than my old Aero tech shorts which cost a lot more. These shorts are the ones in the middle of of my picture, the aerotech shorts on the right. the ones on the left I also bought on amazon, another brand for a bit less $.

Exceptional Comfort and Durability – Ideal for Avid Cyclists
As a cycle instructor at 24 Hour Fitness, I engage in cycling sessions four or more times a week, demanding high-performance gear. The Sponeed Men's Cycling Shorts have proven to be the most comfortable and durable option I've encountered. The 4D gel padding provides excellent cushioning, ensuring comfort during extended rides. The moisture-wicking fabric keeps me dry, and the breathable material prevents overheating. The elastic waistband and silicone anti-slip bands at the thighs ensure a secure fit without discomfort. The vibrant color options add a stylish touch, and the quality of the material is evident. After more than a year of rigorous use, my initial pairs have only just begun to show signs of wear, which speaks volumes about their durability. I frequently recommend these shorts to participants in my cycling classes, confident in their value and performance. For the price, they offer exceptional quality and comfort.

Very High Quality for the Price, Be Careful on Size
These are very well made cycling shorts. I especially like the type and shape of the padding. I would caution the end user about the sizing. I'm 5' 8" tall and weigh 140 lbs. I have a waist size of 32" with a 30" inseam. (For reference: Wrangler size 32 pants and shorts fit comfortably). My thighs are 20" at their widest, and are about 17" two inches above the knee cap. I originally ordered size M (US) which is L (Asian). I found that while the waist, seat, and padding are fine, the elastic just above the knee cap was very tight. I decided to keep them and I use them for rides of an hour or less. I then ordered a pair in L (US) which is XL (Asian). These are more comfortable around the thigh just above the knee and are much more comfortable to wear for an extended period. The waist and seat still seem to fit ok. There is a slight difference in that the padding is a bit larger than on the smaller size and it is noticeable but not objectionable. I now use the US size M for my regular one hour training rides, but when I go on an extended tour where one would be on and off the bike most of the day, I'll wear the US size L. One can sit for an hour or two off the bike and not feel like your lower legs are going to go to sleep. Not sure if the smaller pair will eventually stretch out. I have washed both pairs a couple of times and the tight ones have loosened very slightly, but are still very snug near the knee. But overall, I think these Sponeed cycling shorts are an excellent value. I would recommend them to anyone, with the caveats noted.

Decent pair, uncomfortable on waist & thigh
I ended up returning these because the padding was so much & so big. The material is also thick.. which made me feel stiff and uncomfortable. Lastly the waist band was too long and was uncomfortable on my stomach, not around my waist like it should be.

Just buy it. I'm getting a second pair
Bought the NICEWWIN, nice shorts but the padding although the right thickness it was too soft, got a large, fit was good. Bought the SOUKE nice shorts, great padded but after a while on the saddle you feel the spaces between padded areas, this gets better after you wear it a few times. I will buy another pair, I originally got a large and it was a little big so I'll get a medium next go round. The Sponeed was a nice blend of the first two, good padding but not over padded, and is a pleasure to wear. Bought a Medium, fit was good but can't go smaller. I’m 165lbs. 5’ 10” waist 34” thin legs.

Awesome for the price
Initially I thought the seems down the inside of the leg under the gel padding would be an issue but it is not a problem. These shorts are very good for the price. I only use them for 2 40 minute rides per day (not the same pair daily)
