This is a nice set. I wish the broom bristles were stronger, but it works fine and it’s attractive. The metal that it is made with is nice and strong and pretty and holds up - doesn’t rust.

I've had many dust pans and many brooms. The problem with many dust pans is that the dust pan itself will not lie flat on the floor, so one must sweep multiple times and often still cannot get all of the dust into the dust pan. I have had back surgery and am not supposed to bend my back, so I was looking for a standing dustpan and broom set. The broom is about average for the type of broom it is. Everything is aluminum except the bristles. Other reviewers disparaged the broom because it sounded "tinny" or something similar. Aluminum is a good metal and is perfect for this application because it is lightweight for the amount of strength. The dust pan is excellent. It's metal and has arrived to me perfectly level and straight, so it catches all of the dust and dirt I can brush up. Overall, it's an excellent product. The plastic ones would have just been frustrating, though they would be cool and the pan would swivel straight, and this one does not. That's a very minor price to pay for a dustpan that will actually do the job.

The handle does not stay tightly screwed to each other. It wobbles and the thread to the handle cannot tighten beyond a certain point so it remains loose permanently. The material used is flimsy and thin and hasn't held up in the salon - with less than 2 months used. The broom part has soft straw which does well to clean but it started falling out the first day. The plastic nodule that holds the broom to the dust pail also is made cheaply. It will break. Looks pretty if you want to stage a showing or something but just not usable. I do not recommend. In fact while looking for a replacement, I remembered I needed to write this review.

5 for style but the handle falls apart and unscrews while using the broom. It essentially disassembles itself while I’m cleaning. It’s over priced for what it is.

I love this broom and dustpan so much! It looks chic in my kitchen. Bristels are soft, yet thick enough to get the job done effectively. I wanna bring up the soft bristles again because my broom seriously glides across the floor so elegantly as I sweep lol! My only complaint about the broom is that the shaft of it is connected into 3 pieces that you twist to tighten into eachother at their ends, so while you’re sweeping, the pieces quickly and easily loosen, which requires me to have to stop what I’m doing to retighten them. So that’s a little annoying. Also, I wish the dustpan was able to fold up after use to make for better storing it. And I think both, the broom handle and dustpan, could have one more extender piece to connect to it to make it a little longer/taller. Overall, I am very happy with my pretty, new broom, and would recommend this product to buyers (so long as my above issues aren’t dealbreakers for them). The pros outweigh the cons with this broom.

Initially I was not happy with this dust pan and broom because it was so lightweight and felt cheap, but it works. And it works great! We have cats and hardwood floors. The broom is really great for picking up dust, cat hair and anything else. The dust pan is easily flush with the floor making it easy to sweep up every tiny bit. I'm surprised that it works so well. I use it all the time, every day, and I sweep my in home yoga studio with it too. Love it!

Aesthetically a beautiful broom and dustpan. I am giving it 2 stars for now instead of 4 since I received a defective dustpan from manufacturer which I’m bummed about since it was part of my birthday gift. The poles/handles of this set seem light and not heavy duty and possibly easily dented if someone was to accidentally step on it. But if store properly and well taken care of it should not be a problem. The reason why we purchased this item was because of how simple/clean it looks and because it’s made of stainless steel. I’m not sure what stainless steel grade it is (it would be nice for seller to include on description) or if it will eventually rust, but it did have a metallic smell to it we could smell it when putting parts together from the warmth of my hands and friction of screwing in parts together. I have t smelled it again while doing a quick sweep. As far as broom height me and my husband don’t seem bothered by it and works well for us. I’m 5’9” and it sits right by my upper abdomen and shorter on my husband who is 6” . As far as overall quality and longevity I can’t speak yet, but seems like it will get the job done around the house. I do agree with other reviews on the dustpan it would’ve been nice to have a rubber grip on the of the dustpan so you can sweep in all the debris into dustpan. On the other hand broom and bristles are perfect. Defect: The screw in pole does not screw in the dustpan and either built in screw part on dustpan is long or too short for each other or the width of the screw in part is off and will not line up. We tried many times to make it work that from the friction of attempting to screw in we had metal shavings all over the floor and the pole is scratched where the dustpan whole touches the pole.

Great I plan to order more of these broom sets.
