Absolutely! I use it on a trex. Doesnt get anywhere near hot when using the 3 -4 stand.

Has anyone tried wood pellets in this fire pit?

There’s holes in bottom so pellets would not work well

Can this be used inside a Screen lanai? Or does it need to be used in an open air space?

It needs open air ventilation. they are not smoke free
