Purchased the 200# test line for a 9 foot Delta kite and flew it all week at Cape Hatteras. On the last day, the spreader spar on the kite snapped and it fell into the ocean. I was able to retrieve the kite even against the pull of the waves.

Well made, soft and strong, comes on a sturdy spool.

The line itself is nice line for single line kite flying and the visibility on the ground and in the air is good. I was not surprised, but was disappointed to see the line was made in China. The cover label conceals that. If you're Ok with that, it's good, strong line and should last well. I fly mostly on the beaches in the Pacific NW and don't know how well it will hold up for that, but I expect it will be fine.

High quality dacron braided string. Red and white pattern makes good visibility.

To heavy for most smaller kites. Too heavy for lighter winds. Just right for big kites in big winds.

Purchased as a cheap replacement for an old snapped kite string (well known brand of dual / quad string kites) and not used for that purpose yet, but it is about the same width as a fairly strong kite line I have used recently, so I expect that it will cope well with light to medium strength winds well. A short section served well as a washing line when we were staying at a holiday cottage.
