It’s light enough to use all day, mixing thinset for tile and it does a great job, my son has a fancy brand that is $700 dollars and he likes the speed control on the MAXXT Mixer better

I have had several mixers of this style in the past and this one is by far the best that I have ever used. I love the soft start on this particular mixer because it gives you much more control. It also has two gears and variable speed that is right inside the handle so you don't even have to stop to adjust the speed. The fact that it is 13 amps it gives you plenty of power to mix anything that you want. I have mixed five 80 lb bags of concrete already and this mixer made short work of it...It also has a really nice 5/8" Chuck on it which makes it very versatile and you're not stuck with a single paddle like all of the other models. The paddle is two piece and the perfect length (24") to mix products so you're not hunched over. It also comes with a really nice Chuck key that is mounted on the cord and has a rubber coating so it doesn't hurt your fingers when you're tightening the chuck. The handles are a really soft rubber and feel amazing when you're holding it. I can go on and on but this thing is five stars Plus. The customer service from the seller is five stars Plus. My paddle had a wobble and he immediately shipped me out a new one. Very polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. I'm so happy with the mixer and customer service that I started to look at all of the other tools that they sell and believe me, I will be buying from them again in the near future. I know that they make above average tools and that if anything goes wrong they stand behind their products. It's a no-brainer for me. The unit arrived and it looks like a return from another customer ( wrinkled instruction booklet and dirt on the handle). I was going to return it. I used it anyway because I needed to use it. I used it to mix concrete and I also used it to drill a hole into the dirt by attaching an auger tool to it. It worked perfect with no issue both at high and low speed. It had enough power to get the job done. May be the last guy used it for a single job and just returned it to get a refund. I am happy with it. The reason I gave it a 4 star is because it came looking used.

Have used this to mix a variety of products from mortar to planting mix. It is powerful enough to handle any job needed so far. An excellent tool to have available! Good value for the price.

Works very well. I use this to mix concrete in buckets and sono tubes. I like the slow start with gradual speed increase.

The trigger unlock on this drill must be pressed to operate the trigger, but it can unintentionally lock, causing the drill to continue running. This is dangerous when using it as a heavy-duty drill, as it happened to me while drilling into a trailer frame. The drill bit grabbed, tore out of my hand, and wrapped the cord around the unit due to the trigger lock engaging. The description says you can use this as a "heavy-duty drill" but I found that to be dangerous when the trigger lock can unintentionally become engaged when unlocking. After three such incidents, I decided to remove the lock. I have 40,000 hours of experience in the field of electro-mechanical repair. I am after all an automotive technician/small,medium,and heavy equipment mechanic/Locomotive engineer/Locomotive machinist/ and currently working for a rental company repairing power equipment ranging from rotary hammer drills to extendable forklifts. Upon taking this drill apart: The cooling fan shroud should have been mold casted into the handle lower clam shell instead of the upper which would allow the handle and trigger assembly to be serviced without removing the armature and brushes. The brush/slip ring end housing reassembly was undesirable and was not made with service in mind, and the manufacturer had smashed/crushed the wires when installing the rear cover. The brush components are housed in a removable rectangular sleeve. To insert it, the spring retainer caps, contacts, and lead wires must be placed into a channel while squeezing the assembly together. I decided to route the wires into the intended path (wire routing notches and channels) to prevent them from being crushed when reassembling. When it was all back together I pulled the trigger without the need of pressing the lock button, I smiled… just then, the brushes began to smoke… a lot of smoke. Upon inspection I discovered that the smashed wires were not done so accidentally by the manufacturer, they were necessary to keep the brushes from tilting. Rerouting them into the channels that were cast into the original housing for the purpose of retaining the wires resulted in the brushes tilting and burning the armature. I would need to take it back apart and… Thud!!! I pushed it off of the bench, into the trash, now it's gone.

Used it to mix self leveling cement in 5 gallon pails. It has two gears high and low and each gear has variable speed. Worked very well for me. Never used anything else so I have nothing to compare it to. We did 15 pails in a row so your arms get pretty tired after a while. Great for small jobs.

Es algo pesado y la varilla que trae oscila un poco, el gatillo para empezar esta mal es algo estresante tener que apretar primero el seguro para que inicie , error de diseño.
