WOW...Just what I was looking for and worth the money!!
First...I was looking for a thin barrel curling iron to give me lift on top when I saw an add for this tool. I thought it was expensive, BUT worth it. This tool won't damage my hair like an iron will. Sometimes I don't use any product, just heat, then cool, then a shot of hair spray! My ONLY complaint...it needs a flat spot so it doesn't roll away. My solution is a ponytail band on the counter and then lay the tool in the middle. I took this to the salon yesterday for my designer to play with and she loved it. Said my ends stayed curled, and just the top lifted. I'm sure she'll be getting one of these too. For those looking at other 'versions', don't bother. they have small teeth that will ruin the rest of your curl when you go to slide it out of your hair. This is the best! It even worked on my short bangs...sorry I don't have any pictures. I'll have to try to remember to take some. Thank you for this tool, I love it!

Unique and wonderful!
I saw this on FB so checked Amazon and was glad they had it. I love this tool. By now there may be dupes but a few weeks ago it was the only one out there. It’s a bit pricey but SO worth it. I have curly hair and flatness on the crown was always a problem. Not now! I consistently get nice root lift. I only need it on wash day. I’ve recommended it to several friends who also love it. This works way better than clipping my roots and it’s quicker as well. The learning curve was easy. I highly recommend this tool.

It's ok
Used today for the first time. I was expecting to get more lift, but it may be the products I'm using or that I have fine hair. The handle needs a rubber grip as it was hard to hold in my hand and try to turn it without it slipping. The one pro about this item is the prongs don't snag your hair when removing. It would be worth the price if they'd add the rubber grip.

Takes a little practice, but it's worth it
I saw the AuBonacci Styler on Instagram and was immediately intrigued. I have long, fine, wavy hair that tends to go flat on top, so this Styler appeared to be THE THING I was looking for. Because of the high price, I was hesitant, so I read the reviews and thought about it for a few days before placing my order. I’ve been using the Styler for a few weeks now, and I have no regrets. It has taken a little getting used to, but I do like that I can curl hair on top of my head, like I would with a round brush or curling iron, yet pull the Styler out quickly and easily without unraveling the curl. I use it with my blow dryer on warm heat with a diffuser, and then I give the curl a cool shot with the dryer before I remove the Styler. Because my hair is fine, it requires gel or mousse to really work well. Even with that, I wouldn’t say my hair stays curly after using the Styler, but it does have more lift and volume. I’m very happy with its performance. It works especially well for taming a pesky cowlick I have at the back-top of my head. The only thing I don’t like is that the Styler rolls easily when I set it down. Every time I put it on my vanity, it rolls into the sink or onto the floor, and that’s annoying. I’m also afraid it will break. I keep a folded washcloth on the vanity to set the Styler on when I’m not using it, and that prevents it from rolling away. I still think the $55 price tag (plus shipping) is at least $30 too high, but I haven’t seen anything else like this on the market. I guess this is the price we pay for curly hair innovation.

Doesn’t really do anything
Maybe I’m using it wrong but it doesn’t do anything that a round brush won’t do.

Game changer
I really, really hesitated when purchasing this tool because of the very steep price tag. However, I just used it for the first time today and wow, what a difference it made. I think, for now at least, the company can get away with charging this much because it is such a unique tool, and I don’t know that there’s anything else quite as good out there on the market right now. However, (note to seller) I think if they reduced the price just a bit they would sell so many more. The tool is very easy to use, and really does help to add lift and even just redirect the hair if needed. I love it. Highly recommend!

Returned
I normally don't do reviews, good or bad. But in this case the item is so expensive I think it's worth a warning to other buyers. I wanted to love this item because I had hoped it would save me styling time. The video makes it look so easy. But what I experienced was a tool that only pushes my hair around. The ends are very blunted and stops the hair from going on to the tines. My hair is very similar to the person in the video so I am puzzled why her tool works well but this one doesn't. Thankfully the company does take the returns but at this point I'm not sure how much the return will cost me in postage or restocking fees.

smashing success!
It took me a few looks to convince myself to purchase this but I'm so glad I did. It really does give tons of lift to the top of my head where my fine hair curls drop flat. Using a bit of gel along with a diffuser (low setting, warm heat) keeps the lift until my next wash day which could be three days later or more. It's so much quicker thank the clip method I'd been using for years. The styler material is really strong - some type of plastic resin. I've dropped it on the floor a few times, even on tile, and no damage. The prongs slide right in to my hair and it's super easy to remove the styler without pulling out any curl. I've dramatically cut down on the number of tools I need to travel to do my hair since using this too; just the styler and and small teasing brush for my bangs. Bonus - after meeting the inventor of the AuBonacci styler a year after I'd been successfully using it, she shared that they also have curly hair products (shampoo, conditioner, styling cream, UV protectant, gel, and finishing spray). Who knew??!! Tried them and love them too. The poo/condish and stylers smell awesome and held my curls without frizzing even in the hot humid Florida summer weather. My new go-to curly girl hair routine. Try it; you won't be sorry. If you don't love it, they have a money back guarantee so there's nothing to lose.

Of all the different tricks for curly hair that I’ve been seeing over the past couple of years, this is BY FAR the best! I hate frizzy curls and it’s always a battle to style the curls on top without creating frizz. This tool was like magic. Keep your Dyson. Keep your various other hair dryers and curling irons, THIS is the tool you need.

A great tool for training curls. I have been transitioning from blow waving my hair everyday to going naturally curly. I’m growing my fringe/bangs out and this product is a great tool to have. Watch the videos a few times, really grasp how it is meant to be used, experiment lots and you won’t be disappointed. It takes a bit to get the hang of. I use it to wet set my fringe after a swim at the pool and it’s really helped me embrace my curls. The knockoff product's can be good ….. but sometimes just don’t work as well.

Easy to use.

For close to $100, I thought this would at least have metal or ceramic prongs, but the whole thing is made of plastic. WAY overpriced for a simple plastic wand.

Fake product. Received a hair dryer attachment in box.
