ET Robot Robotic Vacuum Cleaner and Mop with Automatic Recharging and Auto-Detection Timing work R8-A

After several months of receiving this. I had made several calls to the same rep who wanted to handle solely. No problem with the rep. Cons for this is that you must take the battery out of the remote control every time you use it or else the battery will be drained & have to get new batteries, also the remote control was very poorly designed, if the writing on the buttons would be a different color than the button you can see what button to push. Otherwise you must put on glasses to see what button you need to push. It needs a boost from hardwood to carpet & does not go back to the charging station but makes a good attempt to almost get there. Pros, It does a good job on my carpets, not like my Dyson, although what I really like about it is my dogs do not chase after this vacuum like my Dyson as I think the Dyson scares them. The remote you have to get used to maneuvering it but does work. I would have given a higher star if I could see the remote without having to put on glasses & did not have to replace the batteries to the remote each time. Edited 5/16/17 I am editing this as shortly after my initial review I was sent a new remote that I can see as well as a few extra things. I never requested this. My review was read & they sent this on their own. I did not use it again yet, although I am extremely happy with the ULTIMATE Customer Service.

The item is very quiet which is a huge plus and it is very lightweight. That's about all I liked with the vacuum. Things that I did not like about it was It seemed to get stuck on almost everything in my house. It would not go back to the base once it was done cleaning the room so I had to pick it up and take it to the charger. It doesn't have a handle to pick it up with either. I do not recommend this it. I will be going back to a rumba and pay the extra money for something that actually works.

Purchased as Christmas gift. Have not had the experience noted by the above reviewers, but since it was a Christmas gift, just started using it. Seems to have difficulty with area rugs within a couple of feet of a wall. Does not like power cords on the floor & floor length curtains. Will update review after a few more tests this week. Decided to return the unit (at my cost as reseller does not cover shipping) because it just would not work in my environment. Keeps getting stuck under my easy chair & sofa. Reading the instructions, it does recommend putting towels around the base of furniture, but we find this to be a hassle. Has difficulty transitioning from tile floor to area rug. The self charging docking worked great, but I need a vacuum! ;) It did pick up pet hair like a charm. A patio home with modern or limited furniture would probably work well for it. I give it a A for effort, but more work needs to be done to make it a winner.

Wow, this thing sucks! My Roomba left my life a few months ago and I wanted another one. Saw this POS up for grabs as a daily deal. Paid $199 which is $150 less than the Roomba from Costco. I thought "wow, I can save all that money! Hell yes!". I thought wrong.Opened the box, charged it, hit the power button, and waited with anticipation.......it turned and started running for some dog hair, it ran over the dog hair.........and wait for it..............the pile of dog hair was still there. WTH. I turned the robot around to run over it again. Clearly this was a mistake..........nope, ran over the same hair and nada. Didn't pick it up. I let it move to another area..............ran into my ultra thin door mat and then, beep beep beep......stuck.People, BUY A ROOMBA. This is a total POS.

WOW. I read the reviews on every single robotic vacuum cleaner and decided on this one. I am so glad I did. The other more expensive models have reviews that say they are loud and they really bang in the furniture. This one is quiet , As quiet as possible, but it has a motor and it makes noise, it does not bang into furniture. It simply makes contact with a little bump! And turns around and goes the other way. It does not remember where it's been , it makes a very good pattern in several directions. But in all honesty I put it in my bedroom shut the doors and it works for 45 minutes my floor is as clean as can be. I have done this weekly since I have gotten it. I have no animals, but it is amazing the dust and lint and it picks up , and I keep a pretty darn clean house. After I do a lot of cooking in the kitchen, gravity has taken over and my floor is a mess. I simply turn on Rosie and let her go for 45 minutes. It's Best not to have a lot of cords where she can get tangled. I got on Amazon today because I am going to order more filters and brushes just in case this item is discontinued. Please don't discontinue this it's wonderful!! You will not be sorry that you purchased this vacuum.

After living with this for one months I can't imagine my life without it! I have two very hairy dogs so I used to vacuum every morning but now I just press the clean button, leave it and after about 40 minutes its done a good job of my downstairs (open plan, wooden floor, two rugs). Every few days I shove it upstairs (no dogs allowed) and it cleans the thick pile carpet in three bedrooms really well. I empty it and give the filter a quick brush after every one or two cleans as it does fill up quickly, but this is a quick and simple job. Fingers crossed it'll carry on being my new favourite pet. Oh and the husband thinks it's a bit loud (as he works from home) but as I've pointed out me vacuuming every single morning whilst trying to persuade him into letting me shave the poor dogs was probably much louder and a bit more annoying.

It works great. not to loud and after 30 min of vacuuming the whole container is full of tons of things which is great and are house isn't even dirty. Its mopping setting it actually very good. all you do it put the setting on with the mop on and spray whatever chemical you want on floor and then it does its thing. Also I love how every morning we set it to auto vaccum until it is about to die and then it goes back to its charger. works great.

Unit started out ok, but keeps shutting off. Only spot cleaning selection work, but keeps shutting off. Very frustrating. Unit does not return to charging base. I would appreciate replacement or refund.
