AMAZING book about one of the most amazing animals in the world!
I bought this book for my Nephew because I obsessed with tigers and I hope to foster a love of animals in him because unfortunately tigers are on the endangered species list and I want him to remember these majestic animals in case they are no longer around when he is my age. This book by National Geographic is AWESOME, it detailed information about tigers I absolutely never knew, and I thought I knew a lot about them! It is chock-full of info, statistics, full-color photos, graphs, maps, etc. detailing EVERYTHING about a tiger's life and what they do and what we must do in order to protect them.I haven't seen any other books in this series from National Geographic but some have been recommended to me and I think I'll pick those up for my Nephew as well.

Wonderful nonfiction for primary grade children.
I ordered this book for a second grade research project. The students were able to gather most of the information they needed from this one book. It contains wonderful, vivid photographs. If you are a primary grade teacher, the National Geographic Readers are perfect for teaching nonfiction text elements along with nonfiction reading comprehension (Common Core ELA Standards). Parents and children will enjoy these engaging books at home, too. They are interesting and informative.

Great Book for Early Readers
Our oldest child is obsessed with Tigers and loves to learn more about them. This book is a great basic book about tigers covering habitat, behaviors, and diet in an age appropriate manner. The photos are vibrant and the book is well bound. Our child loves having this read to them and can easily follow.

My 5 year old loves these little books. They are good size, colourful, realistic and full of interesting information. I have bought about 10 of them so far…every single one of them is beautiful and child learns so much about each animal. I also enjoy reading them with him. I highly recommend them!
