Amazing. Saves lots of money

The product is amazing. Seals well. Easy to use. However not sure if it’s user error or the coffee, but using my homemade pods do not foam like the real pods.

Easy to use

Easy to use and the foils are good too.

Fabulous alternative for use in your Nespresso machine

I love my Nespresso and also have favorite coffee that Nespresso does not sell. This little refill kit is super helpful when reusing Nespresso capsules. It keeps the mess to a minimum and the cap allows you to firmly attach the the new seal. I've even reused seals and although they don't adhere as well, the still work. I've found you can reuse the Nespresso capsules many times, 10+ times, with no problem. It does take a few tries to learn how to pack just the right amount. Your machine will not run if you over pack it. Just peel the seal away and scrap off a bit of coffee, replace the seal, and try again.

The tools are great, but the foils are too thin and the crack.

The tools are great, but the foils are too thin, and they crack. The tool is easy to use and nicely designed. Both parts fit perfectly and are easy to use.But the foils leave a large square hole which spoil the quality of the espresso, they jam the pod in the machine and leave excess of ground coffee where it should not be.They should charge a little more and use thicker foils.

This Saved My Marriage! (Kinda but not Really)

So we've decided we needed to have a stricter budget, which unfortunately means Nespresso pods are off the list because they're expensive. My wife started doing hand drip coffee, but claimed it was never as strong and didn't have the "froth" like the Nespresso makes. She's not happy, but the heck if I'm going to spend a ton on pods again. After some research, I find that the full metal capsules are not very well rated, but something like this is. Took a shot, and after getting used to it, it's working like a charm. Wife is much happier, (though I'm sure she'd complain it's still not the same only because she knows it's different) and I'm able to just queue up a weeks worth of pods for her.She normally does the 7.7oz pods, which is what we had on hand. Taking a Decaf pod we had (still new) that we keep for guests, I cut it open and measured that it had 13 grams of dry coffee in it. That's an important number to know. Knowing that some people say the coffee is a little weak even with these sealers, I decided to do 14 grams of coffee. 15 grams just seems too full, and I was worried about space in the pod. After cutting the seal on a weeks worth of pods (this was the least favorite part, even though I'll only do it once), I washed them out and dried them thoroughly. Then I setup my assembly line. Using my digital scale, I zeroed it out with the pod holder and pod in it. I added 14 grams of dry coffee (we got a bunch at Marshall's/Home Goods for $7 a pop), and tapped it down with the top. I brushed the edges, put on the seal, and closed it used the top piece. Worked like a charm.I was able to do 16 of them in about 30 minutes. Not a trivial amount of time, but not excessive by any means. Wife had them the next day and was pleased enough, and from her perspective it's much easier than doing the hand drip. She had no complaints about the strength, so I guess the 14 grams of coffee was right, and it allowed for proper brewing without any grounds getting in the cup. So now this is the new routine, and I'll spend about 30 minutes on a Sunday getting them ready for the week. This all being said, even though I gave it five stars, there is some improvement opportunities. There is definitely a learning curve for getting the seals on correctly. They are slightly bigger than the pods (by design) so you don't want to start it edge to edge. You need to make sure to go a little off, so that it's as centered as possible. Even after doing almost 20 of them, I didn't get them as center as I'd probably like. If there was some "tool" or otherwise that could help with that, it would be a huge plus. Also, wouldn't have hated it if it came with a little coffee scoop. That is a bit nitpicky, because you can easily use a spoon. So in the end, I highly recommend this product. Make sure you have a digital scale (it helps a lot), and if you can, make sure you know your measurements. 14 grams of dry coffee grounds for a 7.7 oz pod. I wouldn't be surprised if all of the pods were about a 1.7 - 1.8 grams of grounds to every oz of produced coffee. And for a return on the "investment" in this product, you'll get it after you have reused about three sleeves of coffee. Honestly not bad, and that's about two weeks in our home. After that, it's just getting more grounds, spending 30 or so minutes prepping them a week, and you'll be budget friendly and still happy. Cheers!
