These are darling! Absolutely darling! I have purchased 8 or 9 and just taught a class with them last night! They are great in that they come assembled, they are functional and I think my birds will love a new choice in winged-friend real estate!

I paint bird houses for a hobby. They are inexpensive. Well made, I do keep the finished painted birdhouse indoors as decoration. They do not hold up well outdoors. The wood pieces are glued together not nailed.

Bit rougher wood than some others at same cost, but sturdy. I’ll add more pictures after I paint & decorate it-but it’s nice!! Definitely a decoration item because there’s not an opening to clean it but overall it’s a really cute birdhouse

I have been buying this birdhouse time after time. It is a great stylish piece to decorate. However, the last two orders had serious and numerous defects. First, two of the houses were missing one of the round ball feet. Second, the edges of the roof where sections join are sloppily cut, ending up cut short and leaving gaps. This is not an easy flaw to correct. Lately, they arrive with truly sloppy glue jobs. Not enough on the feet to stay on, drips across the wood, extra glue seeping out from the area whete the house joins the platform. Next, the flat planes of the roof and house were fuzzy and rough with hughly inadequate sanding. Lastly, several were smeared with black smudges that had to be sanded off. The price is great and I've it but they are now requiring significant fixing and repair and impossible to find replacement feet for those missing parts. I would love to love this birdhouse, but I can't any more.

If you plan to put these outside please remember to remove the little perch outside the entrance of this birdhouse. The nesting birds don't use these perches and all it does is give predators a nice spot to sit while they eat the poor little babies. 🐥🍼😤😭 Please save a life and make sure to do this it's very URGENT not to mention easy to do. I just used a triangular shaped metal file that I had laying around and used it back and forth like a saw. After I got about half way through it was easy to just snap it off. I'm sure a serrated knife of any type or even a good metal nail file would work as well. And you should drill a few tiny holes in the bottom of the house just in case it's not water tight over the test of time.

I didn't want a birdhouse toy that's unusable and only suitable for indoor. THIS IS MISADVERTISEMENT. I wanted a real birdhouse. These things are junk and one of them came with the roof torn off. Yikes so bad. UPDATE: I have to call Plaid, not Amazon, for a refund on this junky stuff sold. I'll avoid all Plaid products in the future. "If you have a medical emergency due to our products, please hang up and call 8.00-xxx-xx00." What the actual... $*#). If you have a medical emergency call 91.1! not them! Ug. I despise this company.

Easily painted and attached to our tree. Painted and decorated very easily.

Style

Good design, looks beautiful but as it was handled for clear coating for rain protection one of the roof panal became loose and fell off & made with 3/16" plywood. Hope will last the extreme outdoor rain, snowy weather!

No hook for hanging

The material is flimsy and would not withstand the elements, nor is it really a functional birdhouse, merely a decorative piece.
