I have spent a small fortune on pet fountains, mainly in the lower price range. The cats have never touched them and it's been a complete waste of money. One of my cats is on long term medication and this causes him to become very thirsty - he would often drink from the tap in the bathroom. I was concerned that he was not getting enough fluid so decided to have one final throw of the dice and buy this more expensive item. Well a long story short they both love it - it's great reassurance to see him drinking from the tap especially as it's now getting hotter. I believe the motto 'buy cheap buy twice' applies here, buy a decent product like this and save in the long term. I am 100% DELIGHTED with this item. On the plus side the filters actually work with the water crystal clear after 3 weeks. Cleaning is a breeze and filter replacement is simple (as is initial construction). I Fully recommend this item.

I have had this for quite a few months now, it is good quality stainless steel has been through the dishwasher on multiple occasions and still works like a dream. It doesn’t leak and water doesn’t splash anywhere. It is also extremely quiet unless it is getting empty in which case it starts to gurgle which is a message for me to wash and refill. Both my kittens much prefer this to a static water bowl. I have since gone on to buy further filters for it as I am so pleased with it.

This water fountain is quiet, stylish, and my cats love it. They transitioned over to it without any problems. Easy to clean, and refill. New filters are cheap to buy. BUT, today, it just stopped working. I’ve cleaned and tried many other plug adapters and sockets in the wall, but the thing has totally given up. Giving this a 1 star review as I only purchased this item 6 months ago and I expected it to last me years. No return option after 1 month of purchase. Rubbish.

This water fountain is to replace a plastic one. The plastic is hard to descale ( in a mega hard water area) , and had lots of nooks and crannies which are hard to keep clean. I cannot believe how quiete this one is, and it has a USB power cord, so I am also now going to invest in a sensor to only turn the fountain on when a cat is near. Hopefully this will prolong the life of the motor and filter. It looks like it will be easier to clean, and the shape of the dish at the top means that the water is not sitting in a deep pool. One of the problems with the old one was that the water was sitting in the bowl, and not being pumped efficiently through the filter , and was collecting fluff and bits of cat food. As you can see from the video, 2 of our 3 cats went straight in to try it out. They seem to like it, and that is the important thing. Lol

Works well, with minimal sound. Cats love the tap spout. Only con is that the lid is very light and with the tap adding as a grip, mischievous cats can take the lid off and kill the pump. No fault of the product itself which now holds up well as a large water bowl now instead

Not sure I need 3.2L, I guess that's helpful if you have a lot of cats or you have a small dog. I put about 1.5-2 litres in, that seems enough. Early indicators show it to be a good upgrade on my previous CatMate water bowl. You could hear the HMMMMMMM of that thing all through my kitchen, all the time. This bowl seems to be pretty solid. You can't hear the pump at all and as many reviews state you only hear the water trickling which is quieter with the spout attached. The only time I heard a weird vibrating noise was the top plate being loose. I pushed it down and it was silent again. Before buying it I did look at a few videos to try and find out if it really was quiet - one of the videos where a person was talking about how quiet it is... had them talking the *entire time* over it. Tip: If you're going to harp on about a thing's operating silence, make sure you stop talking so people can hear your point for themselves. :) It's powered by a 5W USB-A power supply and a USB cable (which seems to be integrated and non-removable - which makes sense, considering that it needs to be waterproof). I've not taken any readings but it's a basic 1A @ 5V 5-watt power supply. I could probably attach a meter to get an exact reading but at 5w I'm not *super* bothered. I see from other reviews that some folks had issue with the pump failing, and that when it is off the water drains away - but all the reviews also seem to imply that the seller will send out replacement pumps, so at the price I'm pretty much happy with it and feel safe in the knowledge that the seller will sort it out. I may update this review with some more notes after a few months (and photos when I catch the cats using it) - adding how it does during the summer, how easy it is to clean, if it gets mould which never comes off like the cat mate did etc. For now, good purchase, I'm happy with it.

Hi this product is great when working I have no issues but I bought it November 2024 and last week the pump has stopped working. I am not sure how to contact the seller to obtain a replacement.

We bought this in 2022 was over 36quid at the time, it was a great buy as we go away often and this helps not having someone coming in everyday. Compared to others I used, this stainless steel prevents the gather of that grime/algae making it much easier to clean! Perfect size, easy to set-up, low noise and no leaks. My husband works in water treatment and tested the water after 8days without being changed and no bacteria! This gave us so much peace of mind if we had to leave it that long but our friends always come up and change at day 4 or 5 but it's good to know! It has been very reliable, we keep a camera that captures the fountain so that we detect if stops working when we are away and only once we had a problem. This was about 1.5 years later and we got a motor replacement. Recently we had to bin it because the plastic thing that secures the filter broke when cleaning. Initially our cats were not impressed with this fountain that quickly got used to it and absolutely love it! It even increased their water intake as definitely more pees in the litter! they really loved the one with the flower we had before, but was too hard to clean and because was plastic kept gathering green and pink grime was a bit nasty. Thats why I bought this one, it was stainless steel and did not disappoint! It's easy enough to clean, no grime, and the filters last well and reasonable prices compared to others I felt bad trowing out the fountain just because of that piece of plastic that I couldn't fix, so I bought a different fountain that did had that type of mechanism and it was a big mistake.... the cats wouldn't go near it as much! They prefer to lick taps, our glasses and the condensation on the windows unbelievable... Never thought this would happen, I know my cats don't like changes but they didn't like this one at the start either and eventually got used to! Also I was disappointed because the filters were full of pink grime algae after 5 days and that never happen with this one! That's my rant over! All of this to say that I am very happy with this product and I am buying it again!!! the cats win! They like what they like! That is why I came to update my review from 2022 whereby I gave a 4 star and now well deserved 5 stars!!!

Cercavo specificatamente una fontanella di metallo e non di plastica. L'ho trovata molto capiente (come da titolo quasi 4lt) e anche molto silenziosa. Di notte si sente solo lo sgocciolio dell'acqua, mentre la pompetta neanche si percepisce. Facilissimo il montaggio e anche lo smontaggio per la pulizia. Consiglio di non lavarla con il sapone, specialmente i filtri e la pompa, o comunque se lo fate, sciacquate molto molto bene. Consiglio al limite il bicarbonato, e anche dopo questo, risciacquare bene e rimuovere qualsiasi residuo che potrebbe essere aspirato dalla pompetta. Di solito la riempio con acqua di rubinetto, e occasionalmente la rabbocco con acqua di bottiglia. Non fate scendere troppo il livello dell'acqua, in quanto la pompetta sotto un certo livello lavora male e c'è il rischio di guasto. A seconda dell'ambiente, consiglio una pulizia circa ogni 2 settimane in quanto si possono accumulare peli e residui di cibo nei filtri e l'acqua diventa torbida. Il tubicino è rimovibile ed è di acciaio anch'esso. E' presente un filtro di ricambio all'interno della confezione. Si alimenta con un caricatore USB a 5V, fornito nella confezione. Questo è un altro motivo della mia scelta. Si può alimentare con qualsiasi caricatore per cellulare che abbia presa USB di tipo A (quelle normali per intenderci, non usb-c non microusb) Ho una gatta che era abituata alla ciotola di plastica, quindi all'inizio era un po' scettica nell'utilizzo, per cui abbiamo lasciato per un paio di settimane anche l'acqua nella sua ciotola in un altro punto della casa. Finita l'acqua della ciotola, ha iniziato a bere dalla fontanella, tra l'altro direttamente dal getto del tubicino. Direi soddisfatto

J’ai eu plusieurs fontaines en plastic. Et je recommence vraiment celle ci en inox, pour le calcaire c’est facile à nettoyer.

Cette fontaine à eau est tout simplement géniale pour mon chat ! Depuis que je l'ai installée, il boit beaucoup plus d'eau qu'avant et semble vraiment l'apprécier. Le grand réservoir permet de ne pas avoir à le remplir constamment. Avec un seul remplissage, l'eau reste filtrée pendant plusieurs jours. Le système de filtration est très efficace pour garder l'eau propre et éviter les dépôts. Le filtre à charbon absorbe les impuretés et les mauvaises odeurs. Résultat, l'eau a toujours un goût naturel qui incite le chat à bien s'hydrater. Le débit d'eau est suffisant pour remplir la coupelle et créer un bruit qui attire les chats. Le bruit de l'eau qui coule est très léger. La fontaine est en acier inoxydable de haute qualité, très solide et facile à nettoyer. Le design épuré et élégant s'intègre parfaitement dans la maison. L'installation est très simple, il suffit de brancher la fontaine a un chargeur usb et de la remplir. Le fonctionnement est ensuite totalement silencieux. en fonction du tartre que vous avez chez vous hésitez pas a nettoyer toute les deux semaines avec du vinaigre blanc. Bref, cette fontaine à eau est un excellent investissement pour la santé de mon chat. Il boit désormais beaucoup plus et semble ravi. Un produit de qualité qui devrait durer dans le temps. Je recommande vivement !

I have been using this fountain for over 1 year since purchased in May 2023. Yesterday, the pump gave out but I will be purchasing a new pump to replace it. Advantages: 1. Very easy to clean, I just dismatle it and place the stainless steel plus some of the plastic components in the dishwasher. 2. Its very quiet, I dont notice it running at all untill the wwater levels are low at which point, I hear vibrations like noises from the pump, the water coming down from the hose starts pulsing and the blue light comes out indicating to top up water. 3. There are small pad filters that can be inserted into an allocated filter plus a spongee-like circular filter covering the pump itself. These can be placed in the dishwasher too because for me, It didnot deter the cats from using the fountain, nor did it affect the fountain's functions. I am planning to get replacements from Temu and try them out. 4. Again, the only reason I am not using this fountain now is because the pump has gave out. However, I am intending on bringing a replacement so I can keep using the fountain. Disadvantages: 1. When dismantling the fountain, there are sharp edges that needs to be careful of to avoid injuring yourself. I cut my finger few times as a result. The sharp edge is in the uppler plate where the fountain hose needs to be dismantled from the pump. Caution is needed. 2. The plastic bits and the fountain hose, while are dishwasher safe, still need to be cleaned thoroughly with toothbrushes or sponge around their grooves and edges as gunk gets stuck there. 3. It accumulates dirts rather fast. I clean my fountain on a weekly basis even when the upper plate does not show any dirt. However, when you open the upper plate, the dirt and gunk residues in the big fountain bowl. I dont think the supplied filters are very good really in cleaning and filtering. Always check the bowl for cleaniness and dont rely on the upper, surface plate to judge. Overall: I am very happy with my purchase and I would definitely buy again. I will be buying a replacement pump and filters to exten the use of this fountain.
