It is working fine in Dell Inspiron 1564 It is mentioned in dell Inspiron 1564 that white wire should for Main and Black wire for AUX. Please do according to laptop/pc instructions Ignore wifi card instructions

a network cable is not properly plugged in or may be broken windows 7 . It is also not showing in device manager tried two to tree times but not working at all

Great product - but be careful installing this on certain laptops!
This worked perfectly for my older Dell Inspiron laptop. The laptop has been otherwise fine, but the built in wifi card has connection speed issues. This Definitely brought new life back to my Dell. One note is that the wifi slot was under the keyboard and you have to be VERY careful to remove the keyboard otherwise it will bend permanently. My other laptop had the slot underneath the laptop and just needed to remove a few screws to access it. This has nothing to do with the quality of the product but just a fair warning for those that have the slot under the keyboard. Experience level: My degree and former career is in engineering and have professionally installed computer products before. I still tinker on the side.

Excellent card and works with Linux
Excellent pcie network card and gave the 10yr old asus laptop a new life. Ubuntu Linux recognizes the card as Intel. Getting close to 300mbps. Thanks!

Card works great. Registers as a Intel Dual Band Wireless AC 7265. This is a Wifi 5 card. I get about 650Mbps down with my connection. Great upgrade to old wireless in your laptop. My previous card wouldn't hit more then 130Mbps. Highly recommend.
