Great pencils
I buy these regularly for beginning of school. I usually purchase at an inexpensive time of year instead of beginning of school year. They are great pencils and I believe came sharpened. If not, easy to sharpen. Nice quality and write speed. I love the rainbow color option as I want my kids to enjoy school and every little bit helps.

Best pencils
These pencils are number one! I love the bright colors and the smoothness of writing. These are the only pencils that I ever wanna write with.

Only shortcoming is housing of the eraser.
The colors of these pre-sharpened pencils is so much fun with each pencil having a unique appearance. They are slightly wider in cirumference than the traditional yellow Ticonderoga 2HB and are easier and more comfortable to hold as a result. The writing is smooth with no lead dust left behind and it cleanly erases completely. The only downside is that the part that holds the eraser is slightly wider in circumference than the eraser itself and because of this, the eraser feels like it could pop out at any moment during erasing because of the extra space around it. This is an excellent value with great colors and I won't hesistate to purchase again.

Good pencils
These are good pencils that come sharpened already. My kids tend to write as hard as they can but the point doesnt break with this brand. It is also very easy to sharpen. My only complaint is that the eraser doesnt erase as clean as I would like. There's still faint pencil marks left behind.
