Another masterpiece - Bravo!
Sarah J Maas is my favourite writer and I have read every book. This is actually one of my favourite ones and worthy of a place in this fabulous series. Nesta’s character development is incredible and I can tell that Sarah really understands both depression and PTSD and also the impact of severe depression on those who love you. I love how she embraces the dark parts in her characters and I think perhaps Nesta is the darkest of all, for everyone who has to bite their tongue to stop hurting those they love best, Nesta is someone we can understand. It was very poignant for me, and Nesta reminded me of someone important in my own life who struggles every day but is worth walking over hot coals for, given her truth, humour and bravery - maybe she will remind you of someone too or even yourselves. The story is well balanced and understated and I loved it. Warning – this is much racier than any of her other books, I was delighted that she felt able to unleash her racy writing, I think she is excellent at writing about hot sex, she always has been and this is a fitting escalation for a natural talent- having read this I think she should keep at that for the next Crescent City book (hint!). What dirty dogs ;-) I enjoyed every page of it (and I read a lot of fantasy romance). The desk scene - wow! Great to see Sarah on top form, doing what she does best. Nobody brings characters to life like she does – we always feel so invested and bereft when we finish a book. She has a lifelong fan here and literally cannot WAIT to see what she writes next. ps edited to respond to some of the comments suggesting that the romance build up between Nesta and Cassian was too short - I disagree - the romance has been building during the rest of the series.

One of the best in the series
Sarah J. Maas absolutely blew me away with A Court of Silver Flames. I went in unsure how much I'd enjoy a story centred on Nesta, sorry I will rephrase that, I went in sure I would not like a story about Nesta. I came out feeling like I'd been punched in the heart (in the best way). Watching her peel back those layers of anger, grief, and self-loathing was raw and incredibly human. Her growth felt earned; messy, painful, and full of tiny victories that made me root for her harder with every chapter. The passion with which SJM writes is so compelling and I was totally immersed in the character growth of my least favourite fae. I am amazed by SJM's writing artistry. The dynamic between Nesta and Cassian is electric, complicated, stubborn, and deeply emotional. I loved seeing them learn each other's edges instead of magically becoming perfect overnight; and the friendships Nesta builds along the way! Absolutely precious. Those bonds, the laughter, the training scenes, and the quiet moments of vulnerability made the world feel richer and more lived in. On top of the character work, the plot delivers plenty of twists, high stakes tension, and that lush, cinematic prose SJM is known for. By the end, I was surprised by how much I cared, how often I teared up, and how proud I felt of Nesta's journey. This book exceeded every expectation; powerful, healing, fierce, and heartfelt. Five stars, easily, and I'd happily spend even more time with these characters. I can't wait for the next in the series.

I laughed and I cried and I cheered. Absolutely phenomenal.
Quick review: Phenomenal! This book, told from Nesta's point of view, is a raw and authentic portrayal of a real life journey through healing from grief and trauma. It is an uncomfortable, ugly, and heart wrenching read, but it is REAL. I laughed and I cried and I cheered. Absolutely phenomenal. I think those who have personally experienced rock bottom are the ones who find the greatest resonance with this book, which is the general impression I've gathered, although I can only speak for myself. What’s the book about? Against the sweeping backdrop of a world seared by war and plagued with uncertainty, Nesta and Cassian battle monsters from within and without as they search for acceptance and healing in each other's arms. Full review I have always used reading as a way to escape reality; my mum says she knew when I was feeling down as a child as I would bury my head in a book. I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about Nesta’s POV as I knew it wouldn’t be all flowers and skipping through fields, but the book came to me at a time when I really needed it. I genuinely feel like I went through a healing journey alongside Nes, and I got to the end of the book with a fire in my belly, feeling cried out and motivated to turn up for myself. I owe a lot to SJM and to the women in this book. A few things I loved WITH SPOILERS: * * * I was utterly charmed by the developing sisterhood between Nesta, Gwynn, and Emerie. Since I've always struggled to form bonds with other girls until recently, watching their relationships evolve was captivating. It brought me genuine happiness to see Nesta find her own circle of friends, distinct from the usual inner group. The House of Wind - it’s so whimsical but I absolutely loved the scenes between the House and Nesta. These moments perfectly captured the comforting atmosphere of a bookstore or my home library, and I truly appreciated seeing that feeling conveyed so well within the story. I appreciated that Cassian supported Nesta's healing journey without being the reason for her recovery. It was important that she had to actively put in the effort and want to heal for herself, rather than having a man simply arrive and 'fix' her. I loved the little hints between Gwyn and Azriel. Those moments gave me butterflies and I think I sometimes prefer the slow burn bits to the super spicy bits. Something I was unsure on: While I was invested in the girls' success during the Blood Rite, I struggled to be fully convinced by their achievement. It felt too sudden for them to go from having minimal preparation to reaching a stage in the rite that even seasoned warriors rarely attain. I believe they could reach that level eventually, but the speed of their progress seemed implausible.

Raw and transformative
Sarah J. Maas delivers an incredibly raw and transformative journey in A Court of Silver Flames, shifting the focus to Nesta Archeron’s grueling path toward self-acceptance and healing. While the intense steam factor certainly marks a departure from previous installments, the heart of this story lies in the profound exploration of trauma and the slow-burn redemption of a complicated protagonist. Nesta’s prickly exterior is peeled back layer by layer, revealing a depth of pain that feels uncomfortably real, making her eventual growth all the more rewarding. The dynamic between Nesta and Cassian is electric, fueled by a "push and pull" chemistry that balances the high-stakes political tension brewing in the background. It is a massive, emotional brick of a book that manages to feel intimate despite its epic scale, leaving readers breathless and deeply invested in the future of the Valkyries.

My favourite of all the ACOTAR books (thus far)!
Not only is this book about the power of friendship and love conquering all but there are deeper, touching aspects of self-awareness, forgiveness, redemption and healing. I was looking forward to this story the most because of Cassian (of course), though was skeptical about whether or not I would enjoy this because I have never been sure whether or not I could like Nesta. I could not have been more wrong. I have never resonated so much with a character in my life: her struggles, the depths of her despair, but her resilience to keep getting up and keep going, against all odds. The interesting part of this is that so far the books have been written in first person, from Feyre's point of view. This one is the first (aside from A Court of Frost and Starlight) of which to use the third person, with insight into both Nesta and Cassian's points of view, which is something I prefer. It gave an interesting viewpoint of looking at the characters such as Rhysand without looking through Feyre's rose-tinted lenses and overall bias. Honourable mentions in this book have got to be firstly the ball when Nesta dances, need I say any more? And then when Cassian goes to visit Nesta to give her the Winter Solstice gift. I was screaming and giggling to the extent had to read that chapter again! Like um hello, a man personalising a Symphonia with music that he knew you'd love, just for you to listen to and dance to whenever you wish? Cassian is the standard in men. The only unbelievable thing (yes even in a fantasy book) is the wingspan and being able to go down 10,000 steps - and back up

Spectacular dont seem good enough
i have read all the books in this series and it is amazing that each just gets better and better. To see what Rhys, Feyre, Nesta, Elain, Azriel and Cassian become was such a joy to read. 758 pages of pure joy to read. If you love fantasy, fae, mythology, enemies to lovers then this is the series for you. Major and minor characters all feel just as important and some even get redemption like they deserve. An amazing end to the book and i wait with bated breath for the next in the series. Wish i was talented enough to make costumes or draw because this series has created so much magic. Thank you for giving us this amazing series. #fae #redemption #romantasy #booktok #bookstagram

Loved it!
I was a bit hesitant to start A Court of Silver Flames even though I love anything Sarah writes. My foremost reason for this was my dislike for Nesta. I did struggle for the first half of the book with Nesta's behavior, but progressing further in the book I began to understand why Nesta behaves the way she does and near the end I actually started liking her to my own surprise. I'm also so happy I still got to read a lot about Feyre and Rhys and the other important characters. I have to say that at the end I really loved this book. Sarah's writing was, as always, phenomenal and transfered me to another world!

just marvelous!!! I wasn’t ready for this one
I had my doubts about this book because I was so in love with Feyre and Rhys that I thought I couldn’t love Cassian and Nesta. But this book brought tears to my eyes and heartaches. I loved this book just as much as I loved the others. I am so moved by the finale that I have no words.

No geral, ótimo produto!
