EUHOMY Nugget Ice Maker Countertop, 44lbs/24H, Ready in 7-10Mins, Black

I’ve had this for four years. I absolutely love it! Whenever I walk by and it’s full I just put some ice in a Ziploc bag in the freezer. That way when we head out to the lake, we always have ice to throw in our little coolers. Saves me a lot of time by not having to go to the store and also saves me money. So far it’s held up great too.

Starts making ice very quickly. I have not had very long but can not say anything but good things about product even though some of the reviews were not very positive.

We bought this because we don't have an ice machine in our fridge and my boyfriend loves cold drinks, and he was having his 2nd hip replacement in a month and we needed an abundance of ice. For the price point we figured if it worked half as well as others said we would be happy. set-up was easy, and maintaining is just as easy. It is an ice maker, not a freezer. Ice will melt after awhile if you just leave it in the machine without it on. Since we needed so much ice we started emptying the ice into a cooler for later use. We basically ran this thing almost 20 hours a day for a month. it worked PERFECT! Surgery was beginning of April 2022, it is now mid July and we still use it every day for drinks and cocktails. We start it in the morning and let it run all day so we have ice water, and then cold drinks in the evening. Even for parties it seemed to make enough ice. We normally don't leave reviews but this machine has greatly exceeded our expectations. We would recommend this machine over a $500+ machine any day!!!

First, this unit comes with a sticker saying allow the unit to stay upright for 24 hours. This is a very good idea as FedEx delivered our unit upside down. We reached out to Euhomy about this and they responded very quickly and generously. After the 24 hours, we opened up the unit. The problem with the packaging is there was packing tape on the decorative front side of the unit. Taking the tape off left adhesive which took a long time with alcohol wipes to clean off. Euhomy should package their units so the packing tape is on the bottom of the unit nobody will see. Make sure to remove all the tape which secures the unit during shipping, it's in a lot of places. Next I cleaned the unit and filled it with water so it would start making ice. I noticed then the unit made a rather high pitched noise. I figured out this was caused by the small protection cage on the outside of the fan. Putting my finger lightly on the cage stopped the noise so I got a small piece of tape and taped the cage to the side of the unit. This stopped the noise but now there is a piece of tape on the side of the unit. Our unit is black so I used black electrical tape so it is not very noticeable. The unit now has been running several days. It makes ice quickly and looks very nice.

I love having an ice maker! I have more room in my fridge, I don’t have to worry about getting home form the store and then realizing I forgot the ice. It take about 13 mins to make ice but the ice is not made at its best until an hour into it. I normally set a timer for an hour then dump all the ice it made back into the water Reserve. I have a family of 4 and we love ice we snack on it like it’s a treat and we put it in all of our drinks. My dad puts it in his water and he will snack on the cubes during a game. Having an ice maker for us is a nice accessory. Not sure how it’s affecting the Pg&e yet but I turn it on every other morning and shut it off around noon. I think we need a bigger one but this one is great for now.

It works very efficiently and looks good on my counter; however, I do put it away when not in use. My biggest compliment is for the customer service provided by Euhomy! Over the top great! My plastic ice cube basket broke and they (at a cost to me, though) took care of ordering me a new one. I broke it, so it was really good that they helped me to get a new one, as they normally don't order parts. The customer service person, Gloria, was just terrific with her messages; I had not experience that kind of customer service in many years. Kudos to Gloria.

Works really well to supply ice in an RV where the absorption refrigeration is slow to make ice. This does keep up even on hot days, after it completely cools down the machine makes 9 cubes every ten minutes or so. It stores pretty easily under the master bed for travel. We use RO remineralized water exclusively in this ice maker for great tasting ice. I was totally skeptical when my wife ordered this machine. My skepticism wasn't warranted, it is great! Only drawbacks on this machine are the noise of the ice as it drops into the storage bin, and the design of the drain system. Since the machine shuts itself off when full, the machine can restart at night and wake you. Also, the drain plug is located under the unit and you have to remember to insert the plug before adding water, don't ask how I know this....

When I first saw this ice maker, I read all the details because I thought it would be a great addition to our RV. In spite of having a nice refrigerator, we always take a cooler to keep drinks and ice handy. The problem is ice melts, right? Well this little gem will make all the ice you need for drinks and to keep drink cold. Instead of having to plan stops for ice, we can now make our own when we need it. You will have several pieces of ice in just a few minutes, and in one day make all the ice you'll need for the day. The ironic thing is we won't use this in our RV until mid September, but we have already made use of it here at home. You see, I'm allergic to fluoride so I don't use the ice from my refrigerator. Now I can have clean ice from bottled water for my drinks too! Thanks!
