TETON Sports Mountain Ultra Tent; 1-4 Person Backpacking Dome Tent for Camping

I've had a lot of tents. This one is the best so far easy set up good quality places for attachments.

This tent stood in a tornado warning, high winds and rain. I recommend it to anyone seeking a reliable tent. Teton is a reliable company. I’ve become brand loyal because of their high quality customer support and lifetime warranty. I have been camping for 50 years. After having a Two Person North Face tent for 27 years which held up to today without a rip, scratch, or tear, it still had the old technology fabric which tends to leak after a 5-6 hour constant rain. I wanted a new technology tent and one that was a wee bit bigger. I looked and researched gor many months. After seeing several reviews and ratings on the Titan 3 person tent, I decided it was the one for me. It is a quality sewn tent and the engineering put into it as to how it was built is very visible right down to the locations of the grapplers that attach to the aluminum poles to the location of the tie downs and stakes on the rain fly. I also have their self-inflating pillow which is comfortable, warm, and just the right size. This tent requires about 5-10 more minutes to put up, but it is truly worth it.

This tent is awesome. Very easy to pitch. I’ve had it set up in the back yard with a front stalled over us dumping rain and it’s dry as a bone inside. Have had at least three rain events that dumped rain at an inch+ an hour and one full on thunderstorm that flooded streets and not one drop of water inside. I laid in it for a few hours watching a Braves game with 80% humidity and not a breath of wind and it was comfortable. Got a little warmer than ambient temp inside but the one breeze that came along came right through and felt great. If I had to find something to list as a complaint it would be that the mesh sags inward slightly. I am 6’ 275 with a 50” chest and it’s plenty roomy for me. When I got it I was sleep deprived am d oils too figure the flu zipper out and Teton customer service was great. Update: I have had this since 2021, mostly stuck on a shelf. I got it out last night and it has taken an absolutely beating today from several rounds of storms. I’ve yet to find any water ingress.

Ultra 2. Solid tent but I’m 5’11” and had to sleep corner to corner. I kept it for kids and bumped up to Mountain Ultra 3. I can sleep end to end in it with plenty room for gear. Update. Spent 3 hours in thunderstorms last night and didn’t leak a drop. Extremely satisfied!
