The Extra 6 Inches Changed My Life - No More Bathroom Floods!
After dealing with water constantly escaping onto my bathroom floor (and the subsequent mold issues), this 78-inch EurCross liner has been an absolute game-changer. Let me explain why that extra 6 inches matters more than you'd think. THE PROS - What Makes This Liner Superior: The 78-Inch Length is the Real MVP: Standard liners are 72 inches, which leaves a gap at the bottom where water escapes. This extra 6 inches means the liner actually overlaps with the tub edge by several inches, creating a true water barrier. Since installing this, I haven't had a single puddle on my bathroom floor. If you have a standard tub, this is the length you actually need. 5 Magnets Actually Keep It In Place: Those built-in magnets at the bottom are strategically placed and surprisingly strong. The liner stays put against the tub wall instead of billowing out and letting water escape. My kids used to constantly fight with the curtain blowing inward - problem completely solved. Heavy Duty EVA Material is Legit: This isn't flimsy vinyl that tears if you look at it wrong. The EVA material is thick (feels like 0.3mm), substantial, and has a nice weight to it. After five months, zero tears, no weak spots, and it still looks new. Cobblestone Pattern Hides Water Spots: The textured cobblestone design is genius. Hard water stains and soap scum are way less visible than on clear liners. My bathroom looks cleaner without me actually cleaning more often (winning!). No Chemical Smell: I was worried about that toxic plasticky odor, but this liner had minimal smell out of the package. Aired out completely within 24 hours. No lingering fumes. Waterproofing is Excellent: Obviously, this is the main job. Water beads up and rolls right off. No seepage, no water absorption into the material. Does exactly what it should. Easy to Clean: Soap scum wipes off easily with a sponge. I spray it down with bathroom cleaner once a month and it looks brand new. The cobblestone texture doesn't trap grime like some textured liners do. Weighted Bottom Edge: Combined with the magnets, the weighted hem keeps everything in place. No more curtain chaos during showers. Reinforced Grommet Holes: After five months of daily use, none of the holes have torn or stretched. These are properly reinforced, unlike cheap liners where the holes rip within weeks. THE CONS - Let's Be Real: Not Machine Washable: The manufacturer recommends spot cleaning only. You can't just toss this in the washing machine like fabric liners. For most people this isn't a deal-breaker (I spot clean mine monthly), but if you prefer machine-washable, look elsewhere. Initial Setup Takes Patience with Magnets: The magnets want to stick to everything while you're installing the liner - shower curtain hooks, the tub, each other. Getting all 12 hooks through the grommets while the magnets are acting up took me about 10 minutes. Not terrible, but mildly annoying. Heavier Than Standard Liners: The weight is great for functionality but makes it slightly harder to push aside when getting in/out of the tub. My 70-year-old mother mentioned this, though she still prefers it over our old liner. Limited Color Selection: Only comes in clear/cobblestone pattern. If you want colored or decorative liners, this isn't for you. This is purely functional. Needs Full-Length Shower Curtain: If your decorative curtain is only 72 inches, this 78-inch liner will stick out below it by 6 inches, which looks odd. You'll need a 78+ inch decorative curtain to match, or just use the liner alone. Price is Higher Than Basic Liners: At $15-18, it costs 2-3x more than basic vinyl liners. However, given the durability and functionality, I consider it worth every penny. REAL-WORLD PERFORMANCE: With Kids: My two kids (ages 8 and 11) are shower splashers. Before this liner, water was everywhere. Now, the bathroom floor actually stays dry. The magnets keep the liner in place even when they're being chaotic. For Tall People: My husband is 6'2" and always complained about short liners. This one provides full coverage without feeling claustrophobic. In Small Bathrooms: The liner doesn't billow out as much due to the magnets, which means it actually saves space in a cramped bathroom. With Hard Water: We have terrible hard water. The cobblestone pattern legitimately disguises the mineral deposits that would be obvious on a clear liner. INSTALLATION TIPS: Let it hang for 24 hours before first use to let any shipping creases fall out Install it with the magnets facing inward (toward the tub) Use standard shower curtain hooks - the grommets fit all types The liner should overlap the tub edge by 2-4 inches when properly hung Clean the tub edge before first use so magnets grip properly COMPARISON TO OTHER LINERS: vs. Standard 72" Liners: Night and day difference. The extra length is worth it. vs. Fabric Liners: This is more waterproof and easier to maintain. Fabric liners get moldy quickly in humid bathrooms. vs. Cheap Vinyl Liners: This is thicker, more durable, and actually stays in place. You'll replace cheap liners 3-4 times in the time this one lasts. vs. Hookless Liners: Those are convenient but don't provide this level of water containment. OVERALL VERDICT: This is hands-down the best shower curtain liner I've ever used. The 78-inch length solves a problem I didn't even realize was solvable, and the magnets are brilliant. After five months, I have zero regrets about this purchase. My bathroom floor is dry, my liner looks good, and I haven't had to replace it (whereas I was replacing cheap liners every 2-3 months before). WHO SHOULD BUY THIS: Anyone with water escaping onto the bathroom floor Families with kids who splash everywhere People with standard tubs (60" or standard 5-foot tubs) Those tired of shower liners billowing inward Anyone dealing with mold/mildew from water leakage People who want durability over disposability WHO SHOULD SKIP THIS: Those who prefer machine-washable fabric liners People with walk-in showers (measure first) Anyone wanting decorative/colored liners Those on an extremely tight budget (though it pays for itself in longevity) BOTTOM LINE: Spending $15-18 on a shower curtain liner felt excessive until I realized I was spending that much anyway by replacing cheap liners every 8 weeks. This EurCross liner has lasted 5+ months with no signs of wear, keeps my bathroom dry, and looks clean with minimal effort. The 78-inch length and magnet system are features I'll never go without again. Wrinkle resistance.

Great quality and looks beautiful
I’ve been using this shower curtain for a while and really like the quality. The design is pretty enough that you don’t need to add another curtain behind it, which keeps the bathroom looking clean and simple. It’s also nice and long, which works really well for taller showers. My shower has an exterior window, and I love that this curtain still allows natural light to come through while maintaining privacy. I actually repurchase the same one about every two years when the previous one is ready to be replaced. It has become one of those products I’m happy to keep buying because it works well and looks great.

Shower curtain
“Great quality shower curtain! It was very easy to install, fits my shower perfectly, and does an excellent job of keeping the water inside. The clear design gives the bathroom a clean, modern look while still letting in light. It feels durable and has held up well so far. I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it!”

Very heavy duty. Too solid to collapse to side easily and unicorn accordion style
Very heavy duty. Too solid to easily collapse uniformly to the side as an accordion style. The pattern is subtle enough not to compete with an outer fabric curtain decor. If you have a step for a walk in shower. The manufacturer folded the bottom of the curtain in the worst location where the Magnets are located. So while hung inside of the shower; the last few inches of seam crease raises the curtain and the stiffness causes curtain to raise awkwardly and allow water to escape shower if you don't pay attention. It's almost like Magnets are too few, light, and to high up from the bottom curtain for my shower type. I tried putting in dryer to soften up material and reshape. But so far all attempts have failed. I just wish they made the bottom of curtain the longer fold and not a couple of inches seam. That seam could be at the top where the hanger slides are and the weight of the curtain would straighten over time and be less of a design flaw. In the end I would recommend for the heavy duty weight. If using inside of a cast iron tub. The bottom seam fold may be less of an issue.

High Quality Shower Curtain
Very good quality for a shower curtain. Looks nice in the shower and has held up for over a year. I will occasionally put through the washing machine on cold to clean it up

Weights not heavy
Says its weighted but the weights are not heavy enough to keep curtain from moving outside of shower pan. Otherwise attractive curtain

Love it!
I loved the curtain. Its perfct for my shower area. Covers the shower area very well and the magnet buttons at the end holds the curtain down so that water does not spill to the other areas. Highly recomend this product!
