Found out I had the right to bare arms so I bought a couple. So far so good. Love the sleeve line guide stitching too, very helpful when drafting and draping.

I absolutely love these arms. They have made such a difference in my draping and pattern making process. The fabric is sturdy yet soft, which makes it very easy to pin into without damaging pins or distorting the surface. The red guide lines are surprisingly helpful for keeping seams and proportions in check while I am working, and the overall size feels very realistic and proportionate to a standard female dress form. They are lightweight but firm enough to hold their shape, and they give garments a much more natural look when I am testing sleeve patterns or adjusting fit around the armhole. It is a huge step up from trying to imagine how a sleeve will hang on a flat form. My only small complaint is that they can be a little tricky to keep securely attached to the mannequin. They do not lock in place, so if I am adjusting fabric a lot or moving things around, they sometimes shift or slip out of position. It is not a dealbreaker and I have worked around it with pins or clips, but it is worth knowing if you plan on using them for heavy draping sessions. Overall, these are excellent quality for the price and an incredibly useful tool for any dressmaker, designer, or sewing enthusiast who wants more accuracy in their work. I highly recommend them and could not imagine going back to working without them now.
