After Shave Lotion
I like the smell of Hai Karate and so does the rest of my family. It also helps to take the sting out after shaving.

A PERFECT Nostalgia Gift!
I surprised my Gen X boyfriend with this - overjoyed is an understatement! He grew up in a home where his dad often had this in the bathroom and he remembers the old ads for it and everything. I was so surprised to see that it's being made again, so gifted him with this. It's been about 8 months now since I bought it, and at first a part of me thought it might just be a novelty thing, as he doesn't really wear aftershave or men's perfumes, but he still is delighted every time he sprays this! It's a lovely fresh, citrusty scent perfect for the summer. Especially if you know a guy who has some nostalgia about this, it is so, so worth it!

Not Bad
I blind-bought this aftershave to see what all the fuss is/was about. The item arrived well packaged and presented. To me it smells somewhere between Brut and Blue Stratos but not as good as either. More like Brut, so ultimately it's a product of its time and not a particularly unique scent after all. With a good splash it lasts about an hour. It's not bad for the money but not great either.

It really is the same as the 80s smell I remember.
I’ve bought retro stuff before that claims to smell the same. This does and brings back memories of happy childhood memories. As a kid back then I couldn’t afford the aftershave. I bought the orange bar of soap in a black case and talc from the cheap shop which smelled so cool and this does too. I echo the comments that it is a brut like musk smell which I loved too from the 80s. This seems to last longer.

Smells the same to me 🙂
For years I've used expensive aftershaves, in fact I still do. Yet growing up in the 70s, one of my favourite smells of my Dads aftershaves was Hai Karate. One Christmas he got a gift set, & he gave me the talc. Just loved the clean smell it had. Of course it was discontinued, & a bit like a longing to eat Spangles, or Bovril Flavoured crisps, I'd often think about how nice it would be to buy a bottle of Hai Karate. So here we are, and somehow, & don't ask me how, I found it on Amazon. Compared to the other fragrances I wear, this is a bargain price. The smell to me is exactly the same, it's a lovely odour. My Wife is too young to remember it, but she loves the fragrance, such a clean pleasant smell. Not much more I can say, apart from I'm happy with it 🙂

Faulty lid check as soon as purchased
Sent back top was loose and product had lost its fragrance and partly evaporated or leaked out.

Massive FAIL..
Not worthy of the hai karate name, sadly really disappointed from really excited !! What a let down.. dont bother. Nothing like ..dont last week fragrance.. In fact it's as some reviews more like modern day brute which also is rubbish now..why cant someone recreate hai karate and why has brute lost it's way. Added note..using it over a few weeks I've got to like the smell which lasts fairly well , and the smell is of a similar sweet smell to hai karate ..

Wirklich cooler Oldschoolduft
Glückskauf! Riecht sehr lecker.
