Can a robot vacuum go over this without ruining the rug or vacuum?

The shag is pretty long and very fine, not like regular carpet fibers. I would not recommend using a robot vacuum on it. But maybe try it and watch it the first time to make sure it doesn't tangle? I returned the rug I bought, I didn't like it, and they sent the wrong color.

Has anyone tried to wash it in washer?

I wouldn't place it in the washer or dryer. These rugs are from China. How can I tell? It's the weak soft pad and design on the bottom of the rugs and the silky slippery fiber they call carpet. I buy them all the time because their very inexpensive, but they don't last after walking on them it causes the weak pad to stretch out, break down and the rug looses it's shape like a blanket laying on the floor. It's slippery due to the type of fiber they use. This fiber will matt up quickly after you start walking on the rug. When vacuuming turn the rollers OFF or you pull out the fibers and will have bald spots throughout your rug. I still buy them for the price and they look good until they break down. So I know what I'm getting and what to expect.

So soft!

I was impressed how big this truly was. Love how soft it is. We definitely had to secure it on the vinyl flooring (it moves easily) but pleasantly surprised just how much I love this rug.

Great thin rug at a great price

I wanted a pop of color in my guest bedroom/office so I chose the purple. I love it! Hubby thinks its bright. It is very soft, almost slippery BUT it is not thick and plush. It is very thin. Fine by me. The backing is great so it stays put. It came in less than a day of ordering in a very tightly vacuum sealed bag and puffed up when opened. It took a few days to unwrinkle but is very nice now. Highly recommend. Great value for the price. 5x8 for $25! Awesome.

Good quality for the price

bought this for my daughter‘s room and it is so very soft and plush ! Has held up very well, I was worried it would tear up after a few vacuums, but it has not at all. Love the colors even prettier in person lays flat immediately does have a slight odor when you take it out, but it goes away quite quickly.
