Great finish, low odor and easy to apply
Picked this up after a recommendation from Stumpy Nubs and it delivered. It’s easy to apply, goes on smooth and soaks in well. Compared to pure tung oil, the smell is much more manageable and fades quickly (you should still use a respirator during application though). The finish looks great with just the right amount of warmth. I’ve used it on a few small projects and it brings out the grain without looking too glossy. If you want something simple, effective and not overpowering to work with, this is a solid choice.

Once again — very impressed with Total Boat
This product is easier to use then furniture polish, but if you really want to get your bang for your buck here’s some things I noticed. 1) Finer sanded wood has an extremely better finish and is well worth the extra prep work to really allow this product to shine. 220 grit minim. 2) Dedicate one rag to this product so you can reapply 2nd or 3rd coats. First coat really soaks in no matter how heavy you wipe it. 3) Estimated dry time seems extremely off… Even after 2nd coat I feel like you could put stuff on a wooden countertop within an hour and be fine. Total boat has some crazy thing like 48 hours. 4) FYI — Viscosity is thicker than orange oil/lemon oil; but, thinner than honey…almost like cooking oil thickness. 5) If you have a lot of surface area get the big bottle. It’s worth having extra so you can lay it on thick and do additional coats 6) After 2nd coat this product makes wood feel “softer” to the touch… very good unexpected effect. I did my whole dining room table after I found this out. This product was applied three times to a floating vanity face (Tennessee Walnut sanded to 600 grit). This product was applied three time to a pantry countertop (Tennessee western cedar sanded to 220 grit). In all, I highly recommend this product for its stated used. I would deduct 1/2 star for the packaging…total boat used a black sharpie to put eyes on the bear bottle. Pretty ghetto considering total boats boujee product line, but at least the product performs.

Excellent wood oil.
So far, I have oiled two custom made cutting boards. This is another great product from Total Boat. It’s a little pricey for the amount you get, but a little goes a long way. Start small and add more if needed, but don’t waste it by pouring a lot to start with on your project.

Great finish, horrible bottle
Do yourself a favor and buy some condiment bottles to put it in. The original bottle gives you zero control when you just need a little bit in small places, and half of what comes out will always just drip down the side of the bottle. I had some extra condiment bottles laying around because I like to make my own friction polishes, so I transferred some wood honey into a clean one and WHAT A DIFFERENCE. The application process is SOOOO much better now. Zero waste!! The bottle is the only reason for the 4/5 stars. As for the finish itself, it's a 5/5. I make a lot of small items to sell on my CNC and my lathe, but when I want a low sheen plus some level of water protection on my CNC projects where I can't use my lathe to apply friction polish, I turn to wood honey. Great product, horrible applicator.

Good stuff!
This is one of my all time favorite finishes for indoor wood projects. Quick and easy to apply and keeps everything looking good for a while. Doesnt leave a bad odor even when applying. The bottle can do several small projects.

Beautiful Natural Finish
The Total Boat “Wood Honey” gives a natural coverage to your wood finishes. The quality of this product and ease of use will surely keep me busy with all my Wife’s Pinterest Board ideas. She especially loved this as it maintained the look of the Maple Wood piece she selected for this beautiful DIY Wood Working Cutting Board. She loved it even more once it was fully dried and ready to use! So much so that I started to refinish some older cutting boards. I would highly recommend it for those DIY Home Projects. I Will update on the wear/use in a couple of weeks!
