Since there are so many good pictures and videos already posted I won’t feel bad about doing this review in bed w out taking a pic lol It looks exactly as pictured. The sound quality is so nice. I have two babies under a year and half old (one 16 months, one 1 month— Send help) and they both have sound machines in their rooms. My son has a different one, around the same price range if not slightly more expensive, and it has a similar range of sounds. My newborn daughter has this one. The big differences between them is the sound quality. My sons his more high pitched while this one is softer. The sound also travels differently out of the machines. My sons seems to sound the same no matter where you are in the room while this one softens as you walk farther away. Where my daughters crib is the sound is so much softer snd less jarring than my sons. I sleep in the same room w my dish here still and I notice every night how nice the sound is. Yeah if you’re standing AT the machine it may seem loud but then you walk 6 feet away and it’s so much softer. You can turn it up w out causing the room to be unsleepable. That’s always been the issue I had w sound machines is how unnatural the sounds could be reverberating within a closed room. This machine is definitely better the other one in that regard. I also like the way it looks. All the buttons and knobs work well and feel quality. My sons feels a bit cheap and the buttons are loud as hell and click like cheap loose plastic. This one is solid and quiet. I like the quieter knob feature of this one more than the plastic buttons of the other one. I HIGHLY recommend this machine. I do not use the battery feature, only the wall plug. So far it works like a charm every night. Hope it lasts lol. I’d consider getting another one for my son for sure. Update 5 months in: my daughter is 5 days shy of 6 months, and we’ve used this machine every single night since I got it. I no longer sleep in the same room as her, and her loud a** brother is right next door shrieking and hollering most nights like a bafoon. I read somewhere that in order for a sound machine to have best results, you’re supposed to either turn it into the direction of where noise comes in (like towards a door, or towards a loud wall) and/or position the machine closer to the source of the noise. It doesn’t need to be like at their ear to work. For example I have hers on her dresser, which is adjacent to the doorway, and it is pointed towards the door. Not sure if that tip was accurate or not but that’s the advice I followed lol. The machine is in the same exact condition as when purchased. It just sits there. Sometimes I forget to turn it off and it runs all day. I’m going to order another one for my son. I love this one.

I received this as a promotion and fell in love with it the first night I turned it on to help me sleep. The choice of 8 different sounds allows me to choose the ambiance that matches my mood. Sometimes it is listening to a thunderstorm, other times ocean waves, or if I want to feel like I’m camping I listen to forest sounds. I can adjust the volume for the sounds to just the right level for the bedroom. Plus, aside from the amazing sounds, the machine has a timer so I can automatically turn off the sounds 15, 30 or 60 minutes later. That way after I fall asleep the room is quiet. And, the unit can use batteries for power, so it operates during a power outage or in areas where an outlet is not readily available. Or I can use the included power cord in the box. I’m very impressed with everything about this sound machine and highly recommend it.

Evaluation of Mesqool CR1007 Sound Machine If one is interested in adding a few pleasant sounds to their environment this might be the device for you. As advertised, the CR1007 comes with eight different sounds in a white plastic housing that offers some nice additional features. My Sound Machine came well packaged in a protective plastic shell inside a sturdy box. No excess material here. Out of the package every feature worked. Tested all the sounds using AC power as well as using 3 AA batteries. When using AC power, the 2 USB ports can be used to charge cell phones or similar devices. These ports were found to operate properly. The on/off – volume control switched functioned properly and at the highest volume played the sounds at a level higher than I would normally use. The headphone jack powered my earphones adequately. In fact, even at highest volumes the audio level was not excessively loud. The Sound Machine comes with a timer for 15, 30 or 60 minutes. When tested, the machine shut off within a few seconds of the selected time interval. The eight sounds available on the machine should offer choices that cover a wide variety of personal tastes. I found four of them to my liking. When turned on, the sound machine defaults to the White Noise choice. Not a very desirable sound. The Fan noise is a little more pronounced, but also not a very pleasant sound. The Ocean sound is quite pleasant. One can actually envision large waves breaking on a shoreline. The Rain sound certainly emulates the sound of a heavy rainfall. But it is constant and as such not as interesting as a sound that varies. The Water Stream is a little less pronounced and more pleasant than the Rainfall. It sounds like a fairly good size stream flowing by and is constant. The Summer Night is my favorite. It is a less complex sound of crickets chirping like one might experience in the evening. The Thunder noise is just like one would envision a storm with lightning. The noise from the thunder clashes occur about every 12 seconds. The Forest button produces a mostly constant sound with just a little variation of maybe water running in a creek. Sort of a stretch to associate this sound with a forest, but maybe a different forest than I used to. All in all this Mesqool Sound Machine offers a good variety of sounds for those wanting some choice or variety in their work space or sleep space. Price seems to be compatible with all the features offed with the device. Nice to find everything working right out of the box!

I bought this for my son to help him relax at bedtime. He said that it really works to help him shut off his brain, so he can relax. His favorite sound is the shower sound. I took a video for this product because it's nearly impossible to fully describe a sound machine with only words. The sound quality is great and the volume is quite loud, even though I'm not sure why you would need it that loud. I love that there is a timer, so the unit isn't running the entire night. Another reviewer said something about a white light keeping them awake, but the silver model has a red light, so it doesn't bother you at all. It's a very lightweight unit, which will make it easy to take on trips. Overall this is a really nice unit at a great price.

Love the number of different sounds!

We used this machine in our sons room as he normally has a fan going as a way to help him sleep, but during the colder months we wanted to find an alternative. This sound machine worked perfectly! Surprisingly loud and can be put up high or across the room for safety. The wide range of sounds is also nice. 10/10 recommend. Great product for the price!

I bought this machine late January 2019. My wife and I have been trying it out nearly daily since it arrived. The machine is stylish and small. As described in the product description, it's ideal for travel. We use the power adapter, but it also takes three 'AA' batteries for use where a power outlet is hard to find. The buttons are arranged very well, I have no problem turning it on or changing the sound in the dark. The only thing that might be a problem for some is that the red power light stays on even after auto-off, but it's a red light, so shouldn't disturb sleep. The auto-off light also stays on until the machine shuts off. That one is white, so it might be disturbing to some. I myself don't see either light because our bed is taller than the night table it sits on and neither light is bright enough to project around the room. The sounds are great, we love the variety. My wife's favourites are the beach and the rain, and mine are the beach and the thunderstorm, though I've tried all but the white noise and the fan. The sounds are soothing and help us get to sleep. I'm a bit of a night owl, so I tend to go to bed later than my wife does. We set the machine for 60-minute auto-off, and if I were to turn it on again, it may wake her, so I use earbuds. The sound is great in the earbuds, but I need to adjust the volume since it's a bit louder than the speaker The volume knob is very sensitive, so to get the volume level just right, I have to be very slow and subtle, or it will change too fast. I'm most impressed with the looping. I'm one who tends to find patterns, and I found both in the beach and the thunderstorm regularity in the sound: three ocean waves and three thunderclaps respectively. For all but the thunderstorm I cannot tell where the sound loops--they're seamless! Very impressive. I can tell when the sound loops in the thunderstorm because the rain slows slightly between the beginning and end, so the slight, sudden increase in rainfall is the tell-tale sign the sound has looped. But it's not distracting enough to prevent me falling asleep. It takes only 15 minutes or so. Thanks for a great product, I would recommend it to anyone with trouble sleeping!

Love this little noise machine! It comes with various types of white noise, and my little one (2.5year old) find them very soothing. She especially likes the ocean waves and the running water sounds. I usually use the 60min timer so I don't have to go back in to her room to turn it off. I haven't tried the cord free option yet so will update my review once I do. It's a bit larger than I expected, but still I like the design and you can barely see it. When you turn it on there's a little white light that illuminates the room a little bit, but not to much (my little one is very sensitive to light and needs the room to be very dark when she goes to sleep). I also liked the packaging a lot. Oftentimes when you order something from Amazon it comes in this brown cardboard box with minimal branding. So if you'd like to gift it to someone it can be a great gift as it looks very nice on the outside as well

Use this product daily. Bought ones for my parents and my spare room, as well as for travel. Necessity for a light sleeper. Great sound quality and volume. Highly recommend!

Love this. Very easy to use. I looked at previous reviews and bought the silver over the all white due to the small light that turns on when you use it (Silver has a red light and white has a white light).The red light is not bothersome at all when trying to sleep (reviews said the white light was too bright on the white model). The volume goes quit loud and the 8 choices for sound are all clear and nice sounds. Great choices for sound selection as well. It is very light weight and easy to transport. It is small enough that it doesn't take up much room (about the size of a radio alarm clock). My daughter loves it and sleeps with it every night. She says it helps and she is sleeping much better with it. 😊
