Dynomax 17744 Super Turbo Muffler

Installed on a turbo 4 cylinder. Personally I would prefer my exhaust to be silent, but there isn't much space under a del sol so I'm pretty limited on what fits. I replaced a straight thru magnaflow which was slightly larger in case size, and it made an enormous impact on the droning. It's only a little louder than stock now, compared to an almost obnoxious ruckus from before. It's also only half the price, so if you're experimenting with trying to change the sound or just put some hush on it, I'd say give it a shot. That's all I was going for, and now I'm keeping it.

THE THICKNESS AND WARMTH OF THIS MUFFLER ARE GREAT WHAT MORE WOULD YOU WANT WRAPPED AROUND YOUR NECK THAN A CAR MUFFLER. GET REAL PEOPLE.

I got this for my 85 Benz Turbo Diesel. It has a 3” straight pipe. After the custom exhaust was put on, it had the most unbearable drone at cruising speeds. This took care of that. Still a touch louder then I want but with the space I have to work with this muffler was the only one that would fit. For a straight through muffler, it does work good without robbing power.

I had Flowmaster mufflers on my LS1 powered 68 Camaro for the last 5 years. It has a pretty decent cam, headers and tune. I like the sound of Flowmaster mufflers but it was just too loud. These sound fantastic. Still has a strong sound at idle and sounds awesome at wide open throttle. Great muscle car tone. Interior sound level is great, much better (lower) than before going down the road

Put this on a tahoe 5.3L. It already had an aftermarket louder muffler when I bought it and I wanted it as close to factory quiet as possible, but still with a little rumble and it is just that. Just loud enough so you know it’s not factory, but you can’t even hear it while driving unless you mash it to the floor.
