Perfect size for most daily coffee drinks. Double walled glass works well to maintain hot contents for much longer and also from the outside of the cup burning your hands. Glass is thicker than expected and high quality too. Will be buying more.

For years I've used a set of the smaller sizes of the Bodum Bistro line to use for espresso and love them for their lightness, cool factor, and insulating effect, keeping my coffee hotter longer than a single wall cup. With working from home now I drink more coffee here and my regular 8oz mugs just didn't cut it, having to get up for another cup or being too busy to go without. Bistro 14oz mug to the rescue. These mugs are no shrinking violets. They have presence. If you have small hands using the the handle alon will be awkward when the mug is full. You'll want to two hand it for sure. As you drink down, back to the handle-only. Like the other Bistro line glasses these are light for their size. And insulate well. I estimate my coffee stays warmer for at least 10-15 min longer than a single wall mug. While they look fragile they feel sturdy, just like my smaller ones. A word of caution though. I don't know if the mugs I recieved were just a bad batch, or the 14oz is harder to make, or what, but 2 of the 4 I ordered came scuffed or scratched on the outside. Amazon exchanged them but then the replacements were defective too. One had a long scratch inside the double wall (I could see it but not feel it). The other mug had air bubbles in the lip. Thankfully, 3rd time was a charm and that set was perfect. I was a bit shocked at the poor quality control on these since Bodum is a premium brand, and these are mouth-blown. But happy it worked out. Even with these troubles I have no regrets sticking with the Bodum brand. I know I'll enjoy these for years. They are a great "have" for any coffee fan -- though they are great for any kind of hot drink.

Love these cups. Well insulated and look great. My go to for coffee and tea. Glass is heavy duty and feels good to hold.

Nice looking, thermal properties great, inside stays hot, outside stays cool, handle is nice. That's the good part. Now the bad: they shatter at the drop of a hat. I dropped one three inches in my stainless steel sink and it shattered. Another one was in the sink, and I picked it up and it had cracked, no idea how, never dropped, I'm guessing some plate or pan touched it the wrong way and it broke. So buyer beware, unless you are uber careful with them, they won't last very long with normal use.

These are awesome, I hope they last. So light and high end feeling. Probably best to hand wash lightly even though they say dishwasher safe. Fits great in jura e6. PS. Don’t peel off the silicone on the bottom it keeps water out of the inside from where the glass is blown.

The Bodum double wall latte mug is ugly, squat with a small handle and has way too much writing etched into the cup. The horrible etched writing includes a website hyperlink address and B.S. about a patent and being designed in Switzerland (It is ACTUALLY made in China!) The Bodum cup has a large silicone cover over the blow hole. It is noticeably heavier than other double wall glasses I have purchased, but it is not more durable. In 2 years I have broken 3 glasses. This is my 3rd time buying them. So why do keep buying them? For the low form factor that fits perfectly under all espresso machines, no other double walled glass I've tried holds 15 oz like this. This allows me to make extra large cappuccinos so I find myself using them despite owning much nicer glasses from Godinger that have proven more durable despite looking more fragile. I always wash my glasses in the dishwasher and consider these double wall mugs a somewhat disposable vanity. None of them really last in the dishwasher but it is way more convenient. For $30 a year, my cappuccino looks beautiful and stays warm. If you don't like super sized cappuccinos, I would recommend something more tasteful, however.

I hate having my hot coffee, chocolate, or tea get cold too soon, and I like being able to savor a hot beverage for some time. I don't use a microwave, and I could not find an electric mug warmer that didn't have tons of terrible reviews. I have thick ceramic mugs that I preheat with hot water but during the winter, they cool down to luke warm in 30 min. I can use insulated travel mugs, but they do effect the taste and just don't provide the cozy, homey feel of a real mug. So, I decided to try double-walled glass & I trust Bodum as a brand thanks to prior years of having their french press. Well- I am really glad I did! $26 for two large glass mugs is a steal, and I used one today for hot chocolate...which absolutely stayed as hot as it was when poured, for at least 20 min, and then stayed perfectly hot for at least another 30 min, if no longer. I am thrilled!! This is the perfect solution for me. I'm actually looking forward to monday, because I'll finally be able to sit down to work with a continuously hot coffee. One note on the 15oz "latte mugs"- if you have very large hands or very thick fingers, you may wanna get the other style of 15oz mug they offer because I think the handles are larger on those. The latte mugs have small handles, which are fine for me and my girl hands but may be annoying if you have beefy construction worker hands, lol. Granted- they are insulated so you can still hold them without the handle even when the drink is very hot.

These glasses are great! I can't believe I had an espresso machine without owning these glasses. Pros: Great quality Aesthetically great Keeps drink hot for a long time Cool to the touch on the outside Feels nice on your lips while drinking Cons: Price (but you get what you pay for) Feels very light (You get used to it though) Must wash by hand if you don't want to get a film inside I use these whenever I make lattes or cappuccinos and they're perfect! I had a friend come over who tried one of the drinks from these glasses and they loved it. They said it was better than the ones that they made at home. They put too much milk in theirs at home and this cup prevents that. It makes the perfect drink every time. It looks amazing and everyone is impressed when I serve their drink in one of these glasses. Although they are pricey for a set of two, it is well worth the money. It really improves your cafe experience!
