Perfect addition to any Watercolor Pencil art set
I really enjoy painting with watercolor but it is kind of a pain to get everything out and full cups of water and sit at a table. I discovered watercolor pencils recently which made it possible to sketch my image while lounging on the couch but I still had to sit at a table with the cups of water once it was time to turn the pencil sketch into a watercolor painting. Then I came upon these Arteza Water Brush Pens and oh wow what a game changer. I can sit back on the couch now and using only my watercolor pencils and these water brushes complete my project. I actually find these easier than using a traditional brush because I always have a hard time controlling the amount of water on my brush. These brush pens distribute the right amount of water and if I am not sure I just do a practice squeeze on my hand to check. The water well holds enough water to cover hours of work. I didn't even read the instructions on how to fill them because they were so simple. Just open, fill, screw back on the cap and done. When I am ready to change colors I just pump out a couple of drops of water and wipe the brush on a little rag I keep next to me. Because the water distribution is so even I don't have problems of constantly needing to dab extra water off the paper because it pools. The brushes put out enough water to fully blend each small section enough that pencil lines are no longer visible. The size of the brushes are perfect and have just enough stiffness. They come in both round and flat. I really love these and highly recommend them to anyone using watercolor pencils. I haven't yet tried them with other forms of watercolor so I can't say how they would do but I could imagine they would work well. Totally would buy these again although they are made well so I doubt I will need to any time soon.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT
I previously ordered a set of 18 water brushes from a different company and they were an abominable mess… The brushes didn’t dispense properly and leaked on my artwork and hands. I was LIVID, so I ordered these from Arteza. I was cautious because I kept seeing Arteza products all over Amazon and assumed their stuff would just be mass produced garbage…. But I always rely on researching these things before I draw a final conclusion and I’m GLAD I did. The Arteza brushes come in a set of six; three flats, three rounds… They have a solid construction. When you open them up and look at the brush part, you can tell the valve design is more sophisticated than the cheap varieties. On the reservoir/handle half of the brush, there is a rubber grip/bulb for dispensing more liquid. Not only is it immediately responsive so you’re not squeezing constantly, but the depth you depress the bulb controls the AMOUNT of liquid dispensed. This was VERY important to me because I wanted to use them for dispensing liquid pigment. Being able to have greater precision for this purpose is ideal! I’ve used other, more established brands in the past that did not work this well. Needless to say, I’m extremely happy with this purchase and would enthusiastically recommend these to other artists. I’m not some paid reviewer either - I just feel the need to write reviews to either warn others of making a mistake or turn them on to a product that is superior. Arteza water brushes are superior. Well worth the money.

Nice
This is one of the nicest waterbrush sets I've used. They actually release water through the bristles much better than most. Most of the ones I'm familiar with pee down the sides, more than releasing through the bristles. These also require less force to squeeze than most. Since I don't have very good hand dexterity and strength, that's very nice. My largest brush unboxed with bent and splayed bristles. I couldn't get the cap back on it, so the cap has run away. I'd like to see the largest one left out, and the price of the set decreased. Every other brand I've tried has had the same problem with the largest brush, to be fair and honest. I like these, and will probably pick up a few more packages, as my limited income allows. Overall, a solid purchase.

Great brush pens at a good price
Water Brush Set of 6 - Fine, Medium & Broad Tips, Self-moistening, Portable, Perfect for Aquarelle & Watercolor Painting and Peerless Watercolors I purchased these brushes because of the good price and the multiple brush sizes. I really like them already even though I've only used a couple different sizes. They worked very well without releasing too much water. I always keep a paper towel nearby when I use water brushes just in case I squeeze too hard and the pen releases too much water. I would definitely purchase these again if I need more. I may even give a set of these to a close friend as a gift. I'm normally very brand specific with my crafting supplies, but I'm glad I gave these a chance. I have used the watercolor brushes from Stampin' Up! previously. These brush pens do not hold as much water, but that isn't really an issue for me since I do small projects rather than huge canvases. The Stampin' Up! brushes are a little easier to squeeze to release water. I'm hoping these get easier with use (I've had my Stampin' Up! brushes for many, many years). These brushes come with multiple tip sizes whereas the Stampin' Up! brushes only come in one tip size. I will try to update this review as I use more of the tip sizes and as I use them over time to update how well they hold up. So far I've used them on no less than five projects.

Great! But... Minor issues
These pens are really great for the price. Good quality and I'm super impressed for the price I paid. It comes with 6 water brush pens and I use just about all of them! The six pens are An extra small detail tip (round) A medium tip (round) A large tip (round) (personally, this one is my favorite) A small flat tip A medium flap tip And a large flat tip. (My least favorite) The larger brushes are harder to control the water flow because they have either so much water in them its a little overwhelming or they tend to be so dry you can barely use then and there's really no in between. The water does flow considerably well however, wetting the bristles well enough (in the medium sizes) the rubber squeeze button is nice if a little weirdly shaped, causing me to readjust my grip to squeeze it properly. Nonetheless, I would definitely recommend these to any starting out artist with a tight budget and even a professional. Additional notes: The caps for the larger brushes don't have a stopping point and with enough pressure, you have the potential to damage the bristles because the lid simply slips on over the barrel. The smaller brush tips don't have that issue. They also roll all over the place and the caps don't stay on the ends of the brushes during use.

Useful, fun addition to art supply stash.
Used them several times a week for a month now... no leaking, no problems. Round brushes have held a nice point, flats good for washes. Have used them with tube watercolors as well as with watercolor pencils. Using highly pigmented, quality paints, so colors are good and intense. Practice a little to get the hang of how much to squeeze to get water into the brush, and have something ready to blot. I still find it handy to have a cup of water to swish-clean the brushes if there's a heavy load of pigment in them, but if the paint's watered down a squeeze into a rag or paper towel is enough to clean it up and move on to another color. Bought for traveling, but finding myself using them at home, too.

Water reservoir pens that will blow your mind!
I love to watercolor and these pens are my go-to brushes when I want to sit on the bed and paint OR drive to a pretty area in town and paint. The pen holds a small amount of water, but enough to get a small picture done. I would carry as many of these brushes around with me if I want to be able to paint as much as I want OR carry a bottle of water just in case. Personally, I love how easy to use these brushes are! The buttons on the side of the brushes help to release the water in appropriate amounts. If you press lightly you will get less, and if you push both buttons you will get more. This is extremely helpful in my opinion. This wide variety of brushes has answered my need for a sturdy, trustworthy and consistent brush set. One word of caution: try not to tighten the top too tightly. One of my favorite sizes is stuck with the lid on because I added water and put the top on too tightly. That's what I get for being in a rush.

Well made but not enough variety between the brush sizes
The quality is excellent, but I was unhappy with the brush tip sizes. The rounded ones had very little differences between them and the flat ones had the same problem. The flat were also too big for me and the rounded ones were too small. I did not use them, just returned them.
