I sleep with a sound machine. I also have a husband who snores like a tornado siren. We don't sleep in the same room! So when traveling I bring a small sound machine and ear plugs. I need a certain shaped ear plug. Have been using mine for years. They are getting nasty. I was happy to find a replacement. Yes!!

I wear these for a few hours every night and they are the first ones that I forget I’m wearing. Usually when I wake I’m trying to dismiss the discomfort of other ear plugs I’ve tried. Thanks for the soft earplugs with the funny shape.

Works exactly as described. Highly recommended. The only downside is that on long-term use it may cause a slight irritation in the ear.

To the one struggling to decide which ear plugs, I hope this helps. I spent hours, if not days, researching ear plugs on Amazon. I ended up with 8 different ones because, well, I’m indecisive. Many of these didn’t work for me due to my own weird ear anatomy but I wanted to give my experience with each and what I’d recommend given your situation. Everything is subjective, but I hope this helps someone else as the previous reviews helped me. I’ll put my quick summary first and the details after for those wanting more info. *The pink ear plug is an average run-of-the-mill ear plug for size comparison.To summarize:If you have shorter ear canals and more sensitive ears I would recommend Mack’s Thermafit, adult/kids silicone ear plugs, or Hearos Softstar foam. If you have average ear canals and want the most noise blocking I would get Howard Leight. If you prefer contoured earplugs and find them to be the most comfortable then get Flents Protech Contour. If you have very narrow (but not short) ear canals, then get Mack’s slim fit or Flents Protech Sleeping.White Hearos Softstar foam:These ear plugs are wider than most but shorter and the foam is very soft. They are comfortable and didn’t hurt my ears, even when laying on my side. The foam is so light and fluffy though it lets in more noise than other ear plugs. If comfort is most important to you, you’re a side sleeper, and you don’t need complete silence, these are for you.Tan Mack’s Thermafit:This was the last pack of ear plugs I ordered to try and I finally found the right ones for me. The foam expands more quickly and is a bit rougher texture than others but once you get it in your ear it is just as comfortable at the Hearos and blocks as much (if not more) noise as Howard Leights and silicone. If you have short ear canals, want something comfortable that blocks out the most noise, try Mack’s thermafit.Purple Mack’s Slim fit:I have somewhat smaller ear canals but these were too narrow for me. They didn’t block any sound and despite them being thin, they are still long. If you have very narrow ear canals that are an average length, these would be a good choice for you.Dark Green Howard Leight low pressure:Howard Leights are soft and I found that they blocked out the most sound out of all the ear plugs I tried. They are a bit long for my ears but I just have short ear canals. If you have average ear canals and want the most noise blocking ear plugs, I would recommend these.Light Green Flents Protech Contour:I like contour ear plugs because my ears are sensitive. These are pretty large ear plugs and not the best for those with small ears. They were the best price of all the earplugs I tried. If you have average-larger ear canals, are a side sleeper, or prefer contoured ear plugs, these are for you.Blue/White Flents Protech Sleeping:I thought these would be my Goldilocks ear plugs after I liked the regular Protech contour ones but found them to be too big. Well these were way too small. They fit in my ears easily but don’t block any noise, much like the slimfits. I can still hear the clock ticking, the traffic, my dog snoring everything. I’m so bummed! If you have tiny (and I mean tiny) ears and like the contoured foam, I would get these.Mack’s silicone ear plugs (orange kids and clear regular):As someone who generally hates having things deep in my ears, silicone ear plugs sounded like the way to go. I found the clear ones to be huge and I was having to cut them in half so I ended up getting the kids size. They are comfortable and are good for side sleeping. They also block out a lot of noise. My issue with these is that they tend to suction to your ear which is uncomfortable and you can hear your heart beating in your ears. I think it’s something you can get use to though. If you hate foam/regular ear plugs, have small or sensitive ears, and want to still block a lot of noise, I’d try these.Of all the ones I tried, I found Mack’s Theramfit to be the best all around.Happy sleeping!

I've used these earplugs for years to help with being a light sleeper. They do a great job drowning out most noise. The earplugs are very comfortable. I like that they come with a case for travel.

This is a review that is comparing these green "Flents Contour Ear Plugs - Soft Comfort!" to the purple ones, which are called "Flents Quiet Time Soft Comfort Ear Plugs." At the bottom I pasted a general review that doesn't compare the two so it isn't nearly as specific if you'd prefer to just read that.-------------------------------------------------------------I like these green contour ear plugs way more than the purple ones. I have been using both for years and I now have a strong preference for the green ones.Why I like the green ones more:#1 - They are WAY more comfortable!! The #1 reason I switched.#2 - They are easier to put in place.*#3 - They stay in place better.#4 - They work better at blocking noise, but only b/c I can place them in my ear better.#5 - They are bright green! If I wear them during the day this is helpful. People can see them much easier than the purple ones and know that I can't hear them.-------------------------------------------------------------*They are easier to put in place in my ear now that I have had some practice. When I first started using ear plugs I had a lot of difficulty placing them until I watched a youtube video and actually read the directions that comes with the Flent ear plugs (sadly). When I first started using ear plugs the purple ones were way easier to place because they are so much harder and thus stiffer. These green ones will bend if you don't place them correctly which was why I couldn't use so many other ear plugs at first. Now that I know how to insert them the green ones are easier for me because they are soft enough to really shove in.That being said, for me the green ones work better than the purple ones because I can reliably insert them correctly!! The purple ones are hard enough that if i don't take the time to place them carefully they will push themselves part way out of my ear. In that situation the stiffness of the purple ones is what allows them to propel themselves out of my ear if i don't hold my finger there for a very long time. I may have to reinsert the purple ones once or twice before I put them in correctly. In the end, I can insert the purple ones correctly if put forth the time and effort, which wasn't always true for other brands. The green ones are not nearly as stiff so if I place them perfectly I don't even have to keep my finger on my ear to make it stay in place.All in all, the green ones are simply easier and faster to place, for me personally, which means they work better.Lastly, the purple ones made my ears sore! The green ones are more comfortable and my ears are not sore anymore. I do wear them all night, every night. I'm a college student and at times I will sleep for 12 hours with the green ones in and once I take them out it doesn't feel like I had anything in my ear. That is why they beat the purple ones for me. Hands down.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------A general review that applies to both the purple and these green ear plugs:I love these ear plugs! They work very well. I sleep with them every night. I do have trouble putting in ear plugs just right and something about how these are made makes it so I can easily put them in right. I think it's that, compared to other ear plugs, these are easier to roll up and continue to stay rolled up until I have them in place in my ear. They are the only ones that I can sleep in because when I put other brands in my ears incorrectly they stick out and eventually catch on the pillow and come out during the night. I can put these in correctly so they don't stick out and stay in place all night. I don't hear any snoring from the other side of the bed and I sleep peacefully :) I feel I sleep better with them in even if there is no loud noise around me because I don't hear any noise from the apartment building I live in or the nearby roads and parking lot. I wish I started using these a long time ago. Worth every penny!
