I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS THING, IT'S PERFECT
ABSOLUTELY PERFECT FOR ME: (1) This Dual Bike Stand works beautifully. It RAISES AND LOWERS WITHOUT interfering with the bike peddles at all. A normal/traditional kick stand can't do that. Even some "OTHER BRAND DUAL KICK STAND" can't do that either. (2) ROCK SOLID FOR ME: I have this stand extended to its tallest height and it's rock solid. Before this Dual Bike Stand, my bike would easily tip over from the slightest touch since I have my bike rack in the front. (I Should have bought at Rear Bike Rack Stand instead to carry heavy food). Now when people, and especially children admire my bike by touching it, it does not, will not tip over. (3) REMEMBER: This DUAL BIKE STAND IS "BOTH A KICK STAND AND A STAND". It raises your back wheel to the height you prefer, to the lowest or the highest EQUALS the same stability. (4) LET IT SURPRISE YOU: I love how this DUAL BIKE STAND swings to one side of your bike when you close it, meaning it closes together in one swing and opens in one fell swoop. I love this thing more than I thought I would. (5) YES, YOU CLOSE IT WITH YOUR FOOT BY LIFTING THE SEAT OF YOUR BIKE JUST ENOUGH. YOU NO SOONER TOUCH THE DUAL KICK STAND WITH YOUR FOOT AND IT AUTO-OPENS and AUTO-CLOSES. And Yes, I love the fact that my back wheel is off the ground.

Easy to install and well worth the price
Great kickstand, well made and very functional. If your bike has ever been unstable, when on a regular kickstand, especially if you have a bag or load on the bike, this will solve the problem. Simple to put on, flick the stand down and the 2 legs pop open, then the bike will sit up straight by itself. Flick it back again and it folds up. Does not take any more space that a standard 1 leg stand. If you ever tried to remove or re-install a front wheel, by your self and needed and extra hand...this solves that problem, since the bike sits up on it's own with no front wheel

GREAT stable center kick stand.
Much more solid than I expected. Fit perfectly. Functions flawlessly. Folds up easily. Perfect.

Bolt hole partially stripped on first receipt; second receipt in better shape
Top 1/2" of bolt hole is stripped. As a result, even the long bolt is still too short for a pretty ordinary bike, since the bolt has to sink 1/2" into the piece before it gets any grip on thread. On the possibility that this someone else purchased this, stripped it, sent it back, and the company resold it as new, i shall purchase a second one and return this to see if i encounter the same issue. The other possibility is that the person tapping these bolt holes does not know how to use a tap properly, and is stripping them at the factory. We shall see. UPDATE: second receipt did not have this defect. Remains unclear whether this is poor manufacturing or reselling damaged parts as new—either way some further attention to quality assurance is warranted. I ended up using a slightly longer bolt than provided (3/8-16 thread) to get more thread on the bolt; if customers are stripping and returning these, perhaps including a slightly longer bolt is an inexpensive solution. In any case, i recommend that anyone purchasing one of these inspect the bolt hole and make sure the thread is intact all the way to the surface; return for replacement if not. Having installed it i find it satisfactory. I have my doubts as to whether the height adjustment design would stand up to putting a significant load on the bike, but the bike i installed it on isn't meant for cargo. On the plus side the flaired feet will be much more stable on dirt or packed sand than the traditional pointy ends. The bend at the top of the legs seems well engineered and easily clears even the relatively fat tires i have on this bike. There is some interference on my frame with the rear derailleur cable but this is more a deficiency in the frame design; i may end up using a Dremel to cut a slot in the kickstand head for the cable to pass through. The hex bolt head has a fairly large profile that nearly contacts the front derailleur cable. Using a socket cap bolt rather than hex head would be a small design improvement although i can imagine customers' lacking the right Allen key for it, so perhaps that is best left as an end-user upgrade rather than having to bump the price. It would be nice if some neoprene strip were included so that one could install the kickstand without clamping down directly onto the frame and damaging the paint, possibly leading to frame corrosion at a high-stress location. I used some cut up inner tube as a cushion to protect my frame, but a couple of pieces of 1/8" neoprene with a center hole for the bolt to pass through would have provided superior protection and been easier to install.

Stability is key
Works great and was easy to install.

Not stable enough through the time.
At first it worked perfectly fine. After a couple of days, the bicycle was unestable, I double checked and measure everything and, for some wierd reason, I had to extend a little bit one of the sides in order to make it completely balanced again. And then, again, after a couple of days, it started feeling unstable... It kind of works but It is not defentily super safe from my point of view.

A Nice, Stable Stand With a Bonus...
General Impression: A clever design along with excellent build quality. Provides good stability in either lateral directions. In my case, I park my bike on hard surfaces like concrete or decking. Some have complained of compromised stability on soft or grassy surfaces; I’m sure that’s true but I’ve never seen any kickstand that was stable on that type of terrain, especially sloping. Installation: Installation is straightforward and requires little time. Hardware is provided to accommodate the two most common mountings. If your bike has a bottom mounting plate with a standard-size hole, then just use the shorter of the two socket-head screws. If yours is the other type (no bottom plate), you will need to use the provided top-plate along with the longer screw; this creates a “sandwich” clamp. When extended, the two legs of the stand form an A-frame (see photo); each leg has its own adjustable foot. For best results you should select a foot position that, when the stand is extended, will lift the rear wheel slightly - creating a tripod effect (front wheel plus two-legged stand) for maximum stability. In my case, the factory set leg adjustment was correct, right out of the box. (My bike is a 27.5 inch with medium frame.) Performance/Function: With a conventional kick-stand, either actuation or retraction can be accomplished by leaning the bike away from you, etc. This is not the case with this stand. You will need to lift the rear wheel slightly to allow both feet of the stand to clear the ground sufficiently in order to retract the stand with your foot. Some may find this awkward but in my opinion, I find this a small price to pay for the stability and one other bonus… One of the features that attracted me to this stand was the ability to service the rear wheel by allowing it to "free-wheel" when the stand is extended. This makes for easy servicing of the front and rear derailleurs and so forth. When retracted, the stand folds neatly out of the way with plenty of ground clearance (see photo). All in all, I am very pleased with this stand; oh, and the price was reasonable.

Didn't fit either of our bikes but 5 stars anyway.
I bought this for my 2019 Jamis Renegade Expat (the green bike in the photos). This definitely won't fit the Jamis or probably any other bike with both the things the red arrows in the photo are pointing to. That pulley thing for the front geart mounted that low along with that little cross bar (I'm assuming that's a rear fender mount) leaves place to attach this kickstand. So if your bike looks like this down there, you are out of luck! I then tried this on our Specialized Roubaix (like 2010-ish) and am not sure that will work either. As you can see in the photo, it BARELY clears the pedal arm. To get it to clear at all, I had to attach it much closer to the rear tire than I'd like, and I had to turn the bottom part of the bracket a bit, so the top and bottom parts of the attachment clamp are not mounted square to each other. Though that doesn't seem to be a problem, as it still seems to be really firmly on there. We'll have to do a test ride but my guess is that our left heal will bump this kickstand when riding and we'll want to take it off. But the only reason I'm attaching this to a light road bike is we are currently using it with a trail-a-bike (shown in pic). It's a pain to always need to lean that setup against something and these double stands that let you mount vertically is a good solution since leaning all that weight over on a single kickstand isn't very stable. This stand with that trail-a-bike IS very stable. So why five stars when it didn't work for us? Well it's a fantastic design, really easy to install and use, and seems rock solid. I'm not sure what the designer could have done differently to make this a true 'universal' fit for all bikes but it'll fit most bikes well. I'm disappointed it won't fit my Jamis, I was hoping there was enough clearance under that pulley but I was wrong, not this design's fault. For the other bike, no one would normally put a bulky kickstand like this on a road racing bike. I'm not going to penalize the manufacturer for not making this thing more narrow for road bikes, that would probably mean it wouldn't be as stable for the 98% of bikes this is likely to be used on, which are hybrids and touring bikes. Though my Jamis Renegade IS kind of a touring bike, and if that pulley thing is becoming widely used, that may necessitate a design update.

Excellent on my Dahon K3plus
I had to do a slight modification on the clip to fit.

Cavalletto comodissim.
Acquisto consigliato.

Fits Jamis DXT A3!
Item as advertised. No instructions supplied but was easy enough to install with the short bolt and lock washer since the bike had provisions for a kick stand. Looks the part and looking forward to using it!
