This bearing puller is perfect. Great price and does what it needs to. Make sure you pay attention to the effective sizes of the puller though. Fortunately I had multiple bearings to pull so I needed more than just this puller anyways, any bigger than the recommended size and it quickly becomes useless.

I had to change an inner spindle bearing on my 89 f-250, and I bought this tool specifically to pull it out. I was eventually able to make it work, just barely. I had to sharpen the “teeth” that grab the underside of the bearing, because the way they were cast didn’t allow them to grab well. In the end, the tool did the job and didn’t cost much, so I can’t complain. It even survived without damage, which is a bonus. I would give it 5 stars if the pulling threads were finer, the teeth were machined instead of rough cast, and if there were any instructions included.

Worked exactly as expected. Got the job done quickly and cleanly. No need for grease or bread and the bolt and hammer trick anymore. This thing pulled out my pilot bearing effortlessly in seconds. Wish i had purchased it years ago.

The horizontal bar bends VERY easily. I had to disassemble and flip the bar over to bend it back. I was able to remove the bearing after repeating this several times. Used on removing front load washing machine bearings.

The idea is good but the design is too weak to work with difficult pilot bearing. I tried every took I could find but none worked. Finally cut the pilot bearing in my 1993 Ford F250 and chipped it out with an air chisel.
