Received In brand new perfect condition. The Amazon delivery shipped it in the original speaker box so the box got a slightly damaged. However the speaker was in perfect condition. I’m using this speaker on a Uniden SDS200 scanner. And it sounds wonderful. Great sound and it’s better than my Midland speaker. Which was pretty good. The noise canceling button makes very little difference,but I can steal hear a difference. Just lowers the volume a little. So I keep that off. Very nice speaker. I also feel $40.00 is a little high, but everything seems to be. Yes I would buy again if needed. Highly recommend!!!

Compatible with any cb, great cable length, easy to use, great price, can put it anywhere, size is bigger than expected but didn’t disappoint, I can hear it loud and clear and would buy it again

Sounds nice. Requires a lot more volume than I expected. When I unplug this speaker the radio speaker is blasting. That's not a problem if its installed permanently, but I use it as a temporary speaker. The similar but smaller speaker might have worked better.

You need special instructions for certain applications and you will not get them. The audio will be too low if you don't know what you are doing and the seller won't help you. I thought this wasn't working with the SDS200 using the front headphone jack. Nobody told me to plug it into the rear speaker jack. That is an isolated ground configuration with this speaker and will not hurt the SDS200. Just remember that isolated ground is crucial and also, never insert a mono plug into the rear jack. The BC20 has a stereo plug for a reason even though it is a mono speaker. Only the rear speaker jack will work with the BC20 on the SDS200 because it is not volume-limited to protect hearing. I originally complained that this speaker did not work with the SDS200 but in my defense, there was no guidance included with the speaker.

Well worth the money, this speaker is heavy and loud. I got it on sale, and it's waterproof and is sized perfectly to sit under the hood of my truck. Works and functions exactly as intended!

I was disappointed. It offered less than half the volume of the speaker on the radio. The radio volume was set at its highest setting and the speaker volume was quite low. I returned it. I have a Uniden Bearcat scanner and the add says it was rated for my radio.

These are usually about £55 or more from the UK ham radio stores so £33.75 at Amazon was a steal. Bought to use with a Yaesu ft891 and icom 7300. Really good loud sound, no interference problems whatsoever in all modes at 100w. The speaker has a limited frequency range from 300 to 5000hz which is perfect for ssb and cw and reduces the unwanted noise. Solidly made. It has a noise suppression button on the top but the difference was only mildly noticeable. A good purchase at this price.
