When I put one in my truck it held my Glock .45 under the steering wheel while I was 4 wheeling!! I noticed that since there are dual magnets inside the product, the gun doesn't spin around like with other magnets that I have used. From the moment I removed this gun magnet from packaging I knew it was high quality and well made. Soft rubber finish is gentle against my firearms and definitely will not scratch. The magnet is strong enough to hold my fully loaded .50 cal Desert Eagle!!! This is the strongest magnet for my guns that I have ever used! All hardware included with easy installation instructions and adhesive backing that allowed me to test out different locations before I installed it. Highly recommend to all gun owners looking for a high quality gun magnet that will not disappoint!!!

Worked great for my application. My vehicle has a center console that's perfect for concealment. It came with everything I needed to mount it. The positioning tape was handy as I did the mounting by myself. I picked this particular product for two reasons. 1. It was stated in other reviews it won't mar your firearm. That was accurate. 2. It is deep enough to provide hand clearance when you draw. Even more important for my 3XL hand size. In use, it was a great choice. Two things to note: The firearm mounted is a small semi-auto (Taurus TCP). It is mounted inside a closed compartment by itself. I don't think a revolver would be retained very well. I personally wouldn't mount anything much bigger than a sub-compact 9 due to weight vs retention. Being in a closed compartment is a plus should you be in a MVA. If your application is not in a vehicle, say under a desk at work, it should do the job even on a full size all steel semi-auto. Note: When removing your firearm from the magnet-don't try to slide it. Pivot your draw hand away from the magnet until your firearm is freed. I learned this (using a cleared firearm)-sliding can inadvertantly partially rack the slide. It is also more likely to damage your firearm. When mounting your firearm, position it for cant and draw height, then attach straight to the magnet. Repositioning for cant or ride by sliding a mounted firearm can cause the same issue. Having your CCW out of battery when you need it most would be a bad thing.

I purchased 3 of these holders. They work perfect for me. I live in a state that is not gun friendly and cannot carry it on my person at all times. I bought it largely due to the raised mounting surface, and it did not disappoint; it’s great for side mounting, leaving enough space to grip the gun by its handle. the mounting tape is damn near strong enough to be permanent, so make sure you put it where you want it; its great for making permanent mounting easy. beware the pilot hole, I wished I had used the 9/32”. I loved the countersink for the flush screw head mounting. the rubber covering is thin, but effective. magnet strength I found to be just right, plenty strong enough for my full sized all steel Beretta, but still easy to release the weapon without an exaggerated yank. I’ll buy another when I need it. I highly recommend!

Excellent gun magnet. I attached mine to the back of my headboard to hold my Sig MK25. Easy to attach-BONUS comes with hardware included-and seems very sturdy. Holds gun in my preferred position of barrel down and handle up ready to grab in a second and use to defend my home and family. One feature I am super happy about is the thickness of this magnet. I had purchased another magnet before this one and way too thin to hold a full size handgun against the headboard-it was too flush and would not stay-where this one sticks out enough to allow the gun to be positioned perfectly in my case. Great product. I would definitely recommend.

WOW, what a great product. I own several gun magnets and this one is by far my favorite now. It's a strong magnet covered in a hard rubber. The base plate underneath the hard rubber is metal for reinforcement. This product comes with 3M tape on the back for initial placement of the magnet, where you are to secure it with included wood screws. Comes with drywall anchors as well, just in case. The hard rubber is a real nice touch. My other gun magnets are hard plastic which over time scratches the blued finish on my firearms. I'll be buying more of these, especially with the price!! **UPDATE** Before I could put my shoes on and get out of the house, I was immediately contacted by the owner and another person in this company to address the problem. They explained that my particular magnet was an anomaly and offered to send me a new one. I accepted and appreciate them taking ownership of their products. So much so, that I firmly believe that their response alone deserves an update to 4 stars. I await the new one and will update if I find any issues with the new one. Thank you again for being responsive to potential issues to your product. Rich Received this in the mail and while looking it over, looked like it was put together well. My plan was to install this in my truck's center console so that my pistol could be close at hand when in the driver seat. Went out to the truck and installed it... no issues. Put my daily carry to it and still no issue, it strong and true, fierce magnet, no doubt.... Then, as I pulled my piece away from it to find just the right position, I noticed that the magnet was flexing quite a bit away from it's mounting surface. Perplexed, and thinking maybe it was just the "way it worked", I put said weapon back to it again for now a total of 5 times, when I pulled my gun away, the whole magnet minus mounting plate pulled right off and I now had an unintended accessory to the side of my gun.... closer inspection released that this think is "attached", magnet to mounting plate by a small shot of glue..... Attached is a photo where you can see the amount of glue is/was. The magnet... fierce! I'd trust my gun to stay put through almost any amount of rough road..... But, I would never trust the amount of "glue" to keep the whole package to gather. I'm glad I discovered this during installation because I would never want to be kicking my gun around on the floor board while driving. I will contact the seller and repost how that goes good or bad....

I purchased this for my Glock 17. I was a little worried when I ordered it that it might not hold a full sized pistol securely. Thankfully, the magnet is exceptionally strong and it is very high quality. It has both an adhesive backing and two screws for mounting. I live in a home with no children, so I purchased it to mount a gun under the bed for quick and easy access. After seeing how well it works, I'll be ordering a few more for other locations. It's a great product at a great price.
