Ich besitze seit einiger Zeit den Refraktor SV503 560 mm F7. Ich habe mir daher den Reducer SV193 zugelegt, der in Verbindung mit dem Refraktor die Brennweite auf 448 mm reduziert, ein größeres Blidfeld bietet, sowie eine höhere Lichtstärke F5,6. Ich nutze den Refraktor astrofotografisch mit einer unmodifizierten DSLR Nikon D5100. Da diese Kamera ein Auflagemaß von 46,5 mm hat, während der Reducer SV193 einen Arbeitsabstand vom Kamerasensor von 55 mm fordert, habe ich den mitgelieferten M48-Verlängerungsring durch einen dünneren M48-T2-Adapterring ersetzt, der in meinem Nikon-F-Kameradapter sitzt. Durch diese Anpassung erreiche ich den korrekten Arbeitsabstand des Reducers vom Kamerasensor. Die damit erzielten Sternfeldaufnahmen sind bis in die Ecken scharf.
