Whether you are a hydroponics grower or a soil gardener, the Comet 400 will help your plants reach their maximum yields. Different than any light we have ever offered before, the LED Comet combines 4 spectrums of light into a single chip, allowing the colors to mix seamlessly into one spectrum balanced light, specifically targeting photosynthetic activity. By combining all the LED's into a single chip using the Chip On Board method we are able to avoid one of the largest setbacks of all of our previous LED's - color spotting. While many other LED's need to be kept 24" away from plants to allow the color spectrums to mix before hitting the leaves, the Comet's color spectrums are mixed by the time they leave the light. This allows you to put the light as close as you would like to the canopy of your plants. We use 430nm, 460nm, 630nm and 660nm light to target the specific peaks of Chlorophyl and Phytochrome, putting an emphasis on the flowering phase of your plants – while still producing excellent vegetative growth results. Light measures 4 inches in diameter, and 5 inches long. It covers up to 9 square feet in vegetative growth, and 3-6 square feet in flowering . It accepts 120 volt or 240 volt input, and consumes approximately 90 watts of power. 3 year warranty (1 year full coverage, 2 years prorated).
