I remember buying ashwagandha years ago as an early adult.. and breaking out. But as I have been in college I have been looking for supplements for anxiety or calming effects when giving speeches. This is because I love coffee and use zyn which both are stimulating. What I will say is there is a "decent" anxiety reduction. Also, this product seems superior to what I have taken before, no adverse reactions such as breaking out. Yes, it can lower cortisol, inversely increasing testosterone, therefore causing acne. Whether my case is from age or a better product, I have no clue. I am happy with the product no stomach irritation or uncommon side effects. Even with a mild Casein milk protein allergy I have no reaction to their allergy warning. I originally bought this product because it is one of the--if not the top ashwagandha supplement on the market, and i'm pleased. Ashwagandha (Anxiety Reduction): 6.5/10

As a carnivore, I sometimes get energetic at night, and I stay up late --- working with the computer: I work on my creative writing, writing poetry, short stories, plays, quotations, aphorisms, parables, or anecdotes; or, I develop my non fiction writing.If I sleep by 11, I wake up at 3AM in this polyphasic sleep pattern, sleep 4 hours, write, sleep another 3 hours, before dawn. I have an overactive imagination. Less than 1% of the population has a brain like mine. I may have two brains. or three. Well, I knew I had unhealthy trouble with my Circadian Cycle. Now, for the first time, taking KSM-66 I'm able to get to sleep without racing thoughts; I'm calm. And I drift asleep much faster than taking L-Theanine, Gaba, Glycine, or melatonin. And I sleep longer, too, as an added benefit. Never knew Ashwagandha was so effective. I saw that I should cycle this every few days, since It can demotivate some people. Drinking a caffeine Tea like Jiagulan or Bergamot Tea in the morning helps a lot. Tea helps a lot to get me focused, since I enjoy being a productive, morning person as a computer geek. That's my day job. I can end my Dracula existence, creature of the night, and now live out in the sun light, once again. Though I'm still a wolf man, you can feel my heartbeat, carnivore is in my blood line, the tell-tale heart is here, pacing faster, especially when I find myself howling like a Lunatic during the Full Moon, the slacked jaw open like an Apex predator, KSM-66 helps to restore my disposition, so I can now walk upright as a man, go about the day like a sensible Dr. Jekyll--no longer fearful of my alter-ego, this Night stalker, this beast within, this knuckle scraping fiend, this ghastly Mr. Hyde, this grotesque monster that I am, this madness which robs me of my precious back breaking sleep. Now, I can sleep--like a baby.

Updated 3/12/2020 after consuming 180 Capsules (whole bottle) Original review: Nothing to complain about. I take one capsule 3x per day and it's very effective. Definitely helps with my anxiety. Nootropics Depot is a wealth of information regarding these supplements and their products are extremely high quality. Update after full bottle: This stuff is incredible. It's like a physical strain was relieved all over my body. Day to day activities are a lot easier and more enjoyable. My memory has improved slightly, but the biggest improvement is less stress I calmly get through situations that would typically overwhelm me prior to using this KSM-66. My wife sees the difference and says I'm more positive and happy. I take 2 Capsules 2 times per day and sometimes 1 before bed. Tl;dr = this stuff rocks and has made my life noticeably better. This is the first item on Amazon I've subscribed to.

There’s no reason the standard KSM ashwagandha extract should cost this much in 2023. They literally have more extract then they know what to with atp. It’s way overpriced if you look online for just 5 minutes you can find a bulk supplier that’s going to save you a ton of money in the long run. I use ash every night as a way to lower my cortisol levels before bed. It works wonders just not worth the price tag from depot

I went into this schematically, as I’m new to the world of nootropics and I’m always suspicious of things that don’t get FDA clearance as a medication but make medical claims. As a result consider everything that I’m about to say to be a trial size of 1 (pretty much coincidental). I took this in a rather stressful time in my life, just started a new corporate job and just out of college. When I took this it was about mid afternoon. When I tell you that this thing hit me like a truck, I mean it. It’s hard to describe but I felt calmer, a general sense of well-being and exhaustion. Very tired. To the point that I did fall asleep shortly afterwards. I woke up in the morning (about 5 am). I felt rested but most of the effects were gone. I planned on taking one at 9am and starting a schedule of it. I took it again and felt calmer again, no general sense of well-being this time and mildly drowsy but nothing compared to day 1. I weathered it out. I should mention I felt effects about an hour after ingesting, and it was taken with water on an empty stomach on average. The third day, and subsequently up to the current day (it’s been a week so far), I felt calmer after ingest but all other effects had ceased. I don’t know if that means it’s working, or if that means I’ve built a resistance to it. I will likely continue to take it, as the calming effects are worth it alone to me. I do recommend this product.

Product that works without the placebo effect. I take 1 at night and have for a month now and it has resulted in better quality sleep. I also feel a slight reduction in stress throughout the day.

This company has ties to Belieze which to me means products imported and assembled in USA. I try to buy all herbal products from USA as who knows how compliant with standards other countries are? Second issue is ridiculous labeling on front of bottle. It is a gigantic bunch of lines representing brain (I guess) and name of supplement is not in clear view. Instead of Ashwaganda it says KSM-66, other bottle says Sensoril with Ashwaganda in tweeny letters under that. I like supplements to label clearly in easy to read print what they are so when you open cabinet you dont have to scrounge around a couple of bottles that look almost alike. You cannot phone or talk live to a customer care, only email. How good is the product? I dont know because I find the label thing not acceptable in my house and am buying a different brand. My advice to company is shrink the annoying brain drawings and enlarge the label of whats in the bottle. Also explain all the off shore contacts which lead me to believe you are representing raw products from third world countries and putting them together in USA. Not returning the two bottles but using it as a lesson learned to read more carefully and be sure a company has a phone contact number and clearly labels in reasonable letters what is in the bottle which looked nothing like the one on Amazon.
