I have been giving these to my Goldendoodle, Hollie for several months and I think they are helping her, She will be 13 in September and we adopted her at 6 1/2 years. She was a breeder dog and the owner decided to get rid of her and her sister. She has been perfect, but those legs are weakening so I decided to try this product and I do believe she is benefitting from it, not to mention she likes them. I also appreciate the fact that you only give one. Other supplements require several. i have a shoe box full of supplements that she refuses to take even hiding them in cheese or peanut butter. So I like this product and so does Hollie. She makes several trips up and down the stairs (4) to go into the backyard a day and without a problem, so I call that a bonus,

Good Product

My dogs originally only used Phycox supplement for pain relief. But, I eventually had to add this product, per my vet’s suggestion. I’ve been using this product in conjunction with Phycox, for many years now. It works well for dogs with mild to moderate arthritis or joint pain. I have a dog with moderate arthritis and joint pain, and he would limp around pretty badly every day. After a couple weeks of using this product, he stopped limping. If your dog has severe arthritis, this product may not be quite enough on its own. I also have another dog with severe arthritis and joint pain. This product doesn’t work well enough for him on its own. So, he also takes other prescription anti-inflammatory meds, along with this supplement, and Phycox supplement. It sometimes takes 2-3 weeks to see optimal results after starting this product. So, you may have to give it some time, before seeing good results. It is a bit expensive, which is hard on the wallet. I have 3 senior dachshunds that use this product. I usually buy 2-3 containers each time because each time I run out, the price usually has gone up. But, my dogs need it, so I have to continue dealing with price hikes every time I make another purchase. Make sure you check out other sellers’ prices before buying. You may find one that sells it a bit cheaper. Sometimes, I buy from eBay if I find it selling cheaper on there. Also, I used to always buy the correct weight category for my 15-20lb dogs. But, since the price kept going up, I now buy the container for dogs over 80lbs. This way, I can cut one chew into 4 pieces. I get 4 doses out of one piece for my dogs (each cut piece will work for one of my 15-20lb dogs). I get a lot more doses for my money this way. Vets or sellers won’t tell us it’s ok to do this, since they don’t want to be liable for telling anyone to do so. But, I’ve been doing it this way for 8 months. It works well for my dogs. Just ensure your dog gets enough for his weight. I use a container for several months and it never dries out or crumbles. Just keep the container closed tightly. The expiration date is usuallly a year or more out from the date of purchase. I’m not a vet...I’m just showing what I do to save money. It does work this way, for anyone who is on a budget or has multiple pets using this product.

I really cringe on the cost of these. This is why they aren't getting a 5 star. My boy is pretty much dependant on them. He's a malamute mix, so carrying him isnt possible. He's been on them for probably a year now. Originally saw a huge improvement in his "get up and go" within 2 days. I tried taking him off them and replacing with something else but the five days he was off it, he got worse and worse. So, started him back on it and within 2 days he can get himself up and outside. He very willingly and easily eats them. Wish they weren't so expensive. He's on a cocktail of supplements. I'll try weaning him off the others now. He's happy and really eats well.

Our 10 year old pit mix developed a slight limp in his front leg, so our vet recommended Movoflex large soft chews. We administered them daily & finished the whole jar, the limp was pretty much gone, we hadn't seen it since about a week after starting the chews. However, we weren't convinced it was the chews bringing these results, as we had made other changes in his diet, so we took him off the chews. Wrong move. Limp came back within days of stopping the chews. Needless to say, we bought another jar & started administering daily again. About a week later, limp is gone, mobility increased, wants to play & run more. He'll be 11 in November & he plays like a 90 lb puppy, lol. Definitely recommend these. Side note, he's a very picky eater; first jar he gobbled the chew down each day, always wanting another. 2nd jar, he's giving us a little trouble eating them, but eventually eats them. We did purchase from a different source the first time, so maybe they'd been sitting on a shelf awhile or something, I don't know. He still eats them though, just not as crazy for them as the first jar. Not a fault of the product though, just maybe they lose some flavor with time. Either way, he still eats them. All in all, we'll be keeping our boy on these chews undoubtedly.

We have 2 very senior large breed dogs that have stiffness in the hips and shoulders. At one point, they struggled so much to get up onto the furniture that I was ready to block it off in fear they would fall. Since starting them on this supplement, they are able to be much more active and get up onto their favorite couch without any issue. We saw a difference quickly too. It is a little expensive but is certainly worth the price. They love the flavor and definitely are getting pain relief from it. I highly recommend this supplement!

My dog was on metacam and since that is hard on her system, wanted to find something equally effective without the harshness. She has been on half a tablet for a few weeks now and it works great. Only reason for half is her size!
