These are probably the best brand of kitchen utensils I have ever used. Sturdy, easy grip, cleans easily, just the right size, and they look good. They aren’t cheap but you get what you pay for—quality.

Great slotted spoon. This brand is a little pricey for the item, but worth it to me. They hold up nicely while cooking and in the dish washer. This isn't too stiff or flimsy. The holes aren't too large where everything goes through.

I bought this to replace my old partially melted black plastic set of cooking utensils. I did a lot of read and comparing products online before deciding on GIR as I wanted to buy the safest and most durable product I could find. Multiple reputable online cooking sources listed these as a top recommendation, I had never previously heard of or noticed the brand in stores. I started with the 5 piece set but noticeably it is missing a slotted spoon so I had to buy it separately. The price initially seemed high compared to the dollar store options, but dividing the cost by using it multiple times a week brings us down to pennies over a year. I like the color options but went with basic black to be absolutely sure they’d be no staining as I cook often with tomato and turmeric. The spoon is very sleek and the food grade silicone feels very comfortable to hold. It also cleans very easily hand washing and in the dishwasher. They are lightweight enough that they don’t scratch my Allclad nonstick pans at all! They also have enough weight to them when stirring thicker stews and heavier veggies so there is no bending. I currently have 7 utensils from GIR and haven’t had any issues with melting! The durability and quality has impressed me so far after using for a month(I’ll update if something changes). I don’t hesitate to recommend them now!

An extra large slotted spoon that is one piece. I bought separately, as the utensil bundle from this company that I also purchased had only a regular spoon to serve or stir food. I feel safer using this product made from silicon since black plastic utensils are typically made from recycled electronics and can pass toxic chemicals to hot food which is then ingested during eating. No microplastics shedding in my food either.

I have 2 sets of their spoons, my favorite being the spoonula. The long length of this spoon and its solid spoon sister are great when working with deep stock pots. I often make chicken or beef stock and use a 23 quart stock pot. These are the only spoons I own that reach to the bottom. They are so super sturdy that I’ve thrown away all other brands I own. If you haven’t purchased their spoonula, it’s a kitchen must. Especially if you use Le Creuset or Staub enameled cast iron cookware. These have the ability to deglaze a pan like nobody’s business and can withstand high heat, even when doing stirfry. Most spatulas have way too much give to be useful where GIR products have the perfect balance. I know Americas test kitchen recommends another product, which I’ve tried and did not like as much as the GIR line. I’ve yet to have the need to replace these, no tears or rips. Great quality.

This spoon is probably my favorite kitchen utensil right now, it is so solid and sturdy and the silicone is very well made. No shredding or staining. Will absolutely buy more!
