If you remove the center magnet for MagSafe. Is there just a hole now with no protection there?

Yes. It looks and feel stupid too. And wireless charging still sucks due to the thickness of the phone case and the interference with the Second magnet at the bottom of the case

I just received this order and it does not work with wireless charging as advertised. please advise.

Mind did not work either. I brought a wireless mag charger for car and nightstand for my (13 pro max) iPhone and it didn’t work at first until I took out the plug in the middle so now it works fine.

Rubber soft or hard plastic and slippery?

To me thekjfkk, sorry phone slipped, to me the rubber is on the softer side but still slippery even with the texture.

Took center insert/ magnet out and magsafe charger still doesn’t work. what am i missing here?

I took the insert out and it works fine for me. It might not be aligning up correctly. Sometimes when I put it on a magnetic charger it doesn’t always align correctly the first try, however I usually get it seated correctly by the second try.
