Rubies Adult Batman: The Dark Knight Trilogy Costume

My boyfriend and I were batman and catwoman for halloween at a party we just went to. Everyone loved our costumes. So for that reason alone I was really please. Now to be a little critical, the "mask" is the ugliest thing I have ever seen! Normally that would be no problem at all expect for the fact its attached to the cape!. My boyfriend and I cut the mask of the cape and he used a plastic mask I had bought him separately. Also the chest piece runs enormus... even though everyone like his costume it really made him look fat instead of muscular which was actually pretty funny. My boyfriend is six feet tall and around 190-200 pounds. (slim,tall,athletic build) and we bought him a large. Other than the giant chest plate it fit great. If you are going to a party with friends this is a great choice.

It’s very good for the price, it gets the job done. However, it would be better if the chest mold matched the size of the costume, since it feels a bit big, but everything else is fine. I am 5.9 and chose size M

I can't really comment on the head/cape and belt as it was not in the packaging when I got it. (Was kinda upset, but AMAZON fixed it for me!) Anywho, the jumpsuit...as many have said, the chest is fairly large. I am a big dude, 6' 245lbs and the chest was still too wide. I realize that they have to make them to appease a variety of body styles. So I still give it four stars because other than that the suit was pretty decent for the price. The sut is made of a polyester material with the gauntlets blade built in. Tho the arms were a little long on me, I just took up the excess material and wore some cool black gloves that kinda finished the look. The velcro fasteners on the back of the suit are stretched to their capacity when you bend over and come apart and I heard a slight rip of the fabric as I bent over. That is from the crotch lol. Because while the chest is large for a 50" chest even, the bottom half was just about right, except for the crotch. The legs were perfect. I wore only underwear and a t-shirt under the suit. One of the worst things is the boot covers. Apparently, this suit is made for large chested, short waisted, small footed people. I wear a 10 1/2(Not that large), the cover has a stretchy piece of material which is supposed to go over your foot and keep the cover in place. The cover was too small and when I put the first one over it broke. But that just might be user error. Anywho, all in all, except for the aggravation of not having the cape and mask in the package, the suit is pretty cool. Amazon fixed the problem by offering a separate mask and cape and refunding a portion of my order to make the difference. Kudos to Amazon for stepping up. The suit is pretty cool all in all, some minor adjustment might be needed for your body style.

For reference I am 5’ 11” and 175lbs. I typically wear medium in everything and bought a medium. The pants part of this were 3 to 4 inches too short and extremely tight. And with it being very thin material it’s pretty revealing. The foam chest piece, however, is MASSIVE. Too big and because it’s stiff it is really uncomfortable. I had to stuff it with a pillow to fill it out. The Velcro on the back is tiny so it doesn’t hold it closed very well. Buyer beware.

Don't expect a theatrical quality rig here, but you get a thin jumpsuit type design with a cape and cowl. The utility belt is very underwhelming but gets the job done. The breastplate is a semi-rigid foam type thing that does a decent job of simulating a big barrel chest. I got a few compliments, but mostly because its a full body suit and my entire family went as superheroes. My main problem was with the fit but it was not awful. Not too big or small, just out of proportion. I am 5'9 and average build so I ordered the medium. While not uncomfortable it would fit someone who was very short and stocky much better. I'm a 39 chest and the breastplate really needs a 42 or more to fit well, but it was a little tight in the crotch when the boot covers were secured under my foot, so I guess its not really long enough in the torso. Still, OK for the money.

Amazing my husband is a small and the standard fit him really well!! We loved it, honestly I did a lot of research to find the perfect costume for him and out of all the reviews and comments this one is by far the best one! I would agree with the comments about the mask it’s connected with the cape and honestly just looks funky, I bought him a different cape and a different mask from the same company and it’s amazing ! At least the cape is I have yet to receive the mask.

This was the second Batman costume my grandson ordered this year and this one fit so he was happy with it. So this one is sized right. He said it looks good but not as great as he’d hoped, but he was satisfied. The quality is good not deluxe.

I bought the XL. It fits ok but it comes with a problem. The mask was too small. It was made for someone with a small head. I could not see out of it because it kept sliding off my head. Also, it doesn't come with a fly so you can use the restroom. You literally have to take the whole thing off to take a leak. The chest cavity is ginormous. I have a 46 inch chest. I was swimming in it. It's a low quality product for the money being spent for it.
