Great weights fit right in

As you might imagine, some golfers are very particular about their Scotty Cameron’s, especially if it a relatively rarer model like the California Hollywood with the bronze finish. Anyway, after using a semi-mallet putter for a while, I decided to go back to my classic blade shaped SC putter but wanted to play around with the overall weight and weight distribution. Compared to the OEM branded SC weights, these Gofotu weights are such an incredible deal/value. As you can see from my photo, the 45g weight hit the scale spot on (TBH, my 20g SC weight actually measured in at 19g LOL). The pair of weights comes complete with a well fitting wrench, and comes packaged in a very nice little compact clear carry/storage case which also has slots for additional weights as well. Using the included wrench, the weights fit perfectly into my putter (the weights also include the rubber O-rings that every SC weight also has to “seal” the bottom of the putter and to protect the threads from moisture and possible corrosion. Everything fit in smoothly and easily. The only discernible difference is that these weights have an ever so slight bevel to the edge compared to the weights that originally came installed on my putter. That difference is barely noticeable in terms of the fit but the bottom surface of the putter where it meets the weights are not quite as flush or seamless as with the original weights. Functionally though, absolutely no difference and what a savings over the original weight set. Will have to see over time whether there is a problem with corrosion, although in preliminary use the fit and finish of these weights is great and of very high quality! Highly recommended as an alternative to the branded weights/weight kit if you wish to save some bucks (for more rounds of golf LOL).
