How do you get the spray to work? Have turned the top but it still doesn't come out!

Yours must be broken then. I never had an issue. Check to make sure the tube inside is properly pushed into the lid.

Does this remove red wine stains?

I'm a bartender and I bought this to get rid of wine and juice mixer splatter stains out of my white shirts. It does a pretty good job. I don't know if I would use it to get red wine out of a colored fabric. I ruined a light blue dress shirt with the stuff trying to get out a stain. Hope this helps.
