East West Furniture AVC-OAK-W Avon Dining Room Chairs - Slat Back Wood Seat Chairs, Set of 2, Oak

Very nice. Easy to assemble

My first impression was the way the product was shipped which was in strong cardboard boxes and overall good heavy duty packaging. This attention to detail was a confidence builder right off. Okay, so I ordered these chairs for my kitchen table. The assembly was a breeze. All the screws and adjoining fasteners were first class. The bolts even come with a dab of locktite in the threads. This is huge b/c loose bolts are known to cause catastrophic failures in chairs. The chairs are relative comfortable and compact. The small foot print was perfect for my small kitchen. Which brings me to another point. Given the price, there has to be some trade offs. The legs for example are thinner than perhaps other chairs. Hence less wood material equals a lesser cost. By the same token, I’m a small guy weighing 165 lbs and normally don’t have too much company. The point is, I don’t know what these chairs are rated at but if you’re a big person you may reconsider a more robust built chair. Overall, they are very well built high quality chairs with attention to detail. I needed 4 chairs but ordered two initially just to check them out. After assembly I immediately ordered the other two. The next thing and probably the most important is the test of time. Unfortunately that’s impossible to comment but if the quality and attention to detail is any indication of that, then we’re on the right path.

Had issues but manufacturer took care of it after sending wrong part ...so delay in being able to use was the issue. Chairs are very nice...Matches my oak table

Sturdy, well-made chairs that match my 3 year old dining set perfectly! I was so happy to find them! Extra chairs were nit offered at the time. Easy to put together. Nice finish. Comfortable padded seat.

Nice chairs. They were easy to put together, and look great. They seem sturdy and are a nice size. While we only have had them a short time, we highly recommend them.

These chairs are exactly what I was hoping for. The seats are very comfortable and stable. No wobbling, no dings in the leather or wood. They have very smooth finish and look amazing with my husband's old wood table we inherited. The color of wood and chair was as the picture displayed. I bought two sets (total of 4 chairs) and was able to assemble them all in less than 45 minutes by myself. Time includes unwrapping and organizing the parts/pieces. The instructions are in English and have pictures to help Instruct. I made sure to set down the chairs with the bolts still loose to ensure even balance and laid underneath to tighten the bolts up. I have to mention how extremely well the packaging of the Avon chairs was. I was very impressed with how the outer packaging secured and protected the wood/leather chair pieces with foam wrap and styrofoam. The bolts, flat & lock washers, with an allen wrench were inside a ziplock bag that held two smaller ziplocks that seperated all the hardware to assemble one chair. No guessing how many per chair, per hole! It was great. Needless to say, if you're thinking about getting new chairs, these Avon Chairs with leather seats are a wonderful choice.

These chairs are exactly the color of my table, can not believe how perfectly they match! They are sturdy and pure wood. So glad I bought them. The price was unbelievable for the quality. Very easy to assemble, put six together in less than two hours.

Nice match to replace chairs that my teen rocked to their demise, style is complementary and color is very close to my others. They were put together quickly and easily.

Beautiful chairs sturdy, but color is a little to dark for my liking.
