1. While I had no problem with garam masala in food cooked at home, sometimes food in other places used too much. Also, sniffing the spice itself, I never particularly liked it so never used it in the many years I've been cooking for myself. However, I know a small amount of these spices is very good for health so finally I ordered this. I liked it at once; it seems different from the garam masala smelled long ago and is somewhat like the special pao bhaji masala I remember. I have been using this new masala, tiny amounts, and it is very good. 2. I have been regularly ordering cumin seed and coriander powder of this brand. Both are good, and like this garam masala are certified organic which is important. However I found the design of those packets to be very dull, albeit artistic looking. That point has been handled well in the garam masala packet: the yellow band at the top and the two bowls with bright coloured contents enliven the packet: now it looks artistic and not dull either. Perhaps they could consider adding on those packets a beige or light brown band and somewhat bright pictures of bowls with the spice and cooked food using it.

It doesnt taste like south indian gharam masala
Its a good masala but doesnt taste like the typical south indian garam masala. It tastes somewhat like bhakarwadi. But it tastes more like North Indian food. Things like Khajjar Mattar tastes so good with this masala.

A traditional recipe of the brand, had to try the other oldest discovered blend too and was not disappointed; flavourful, organic, and aromatic.definitely worth it :)
