Solar input is still limited to 25v on these? No upgrade planned? So much for connecting a single 450 watt 48v panel.

Another year later the input voltage is, yes, still 25 volt. I was hoping for a 50-75 volt model as well. My space can accommodate 1x 400 watt panel but not 2x 200 watt panels. Bummer.

what is the maximum current it draws from the alternator?.

The victron device shows 49 amps charge without solar hooked to it . A few 1000 mile trips and its workin great . Keeps the battleborn batterys at 14.4.

The manual says: "no temperature compensation when charging lithium battery". Why?

Lithium Batteries can be damaged if the temperature is too low (less than 32 degrees) when charging them. So you have to either have a heater (or a heat pad) to keep the batteries above temp, or you have to disconnect the charging circuit when the temperature is going to be below 32 degrees. That statement is just giving you a heads-up so that you are aware of the consequences that could occur

Can i use this in an rv trailer by connecting the dc side to the output on the trailers converter, instead of an alternator?

Sure you can but won't get a large amount of amps (unless you have a higher amp inverter/Converter) to charge the system.. Just be sure to wire it without a smart alternator which is found on newer cars.

Funciona muy bien.

Lo uso para cargar la batería de casa de mi autocaravana de 95Ah de AGM. Se carga rapido y normalmente llego a mi destino con la batería totalmente cargada. La carga máxima es de 50A que pueden ser 50A solares o 50A del alternador. Si se usan las dos a la vez la carga maxima total sigue siendo de 50A.
